I stared at the grey beanie that sat beside my bag. How can something so simple mean so much? What do you mean by so much Emilia? I have no idea what I even mean. I sighed and got off my mattress to pick my ootd. I swung the doors of the white wardrobe we shared and looked at the multiple crop tops I owned. How's the weather today? I walked to the window in our room and opened it, only to be hit by a cold blast of chilly wind. I quickly shut the window close and decided to wear a thick hoodie. I slid a maroon hoodie - with words 'That's ma gurl' printed in cursive - off its hanger and took a denim skinny jeans.

Yep. No shirt just my bra. Don't judge. It's comfy kay?

*Beep**Beep*

Bitchface: Hey babe I'm here alr

I rolled my eyes at his message and quickly changed into the clothes I just picked. I grabbed my bag and his beanie before slipping into my converse. Mum had to leave early and I'm lazy so no breakfast for me today.

"Morning," I greeted Jeremy when I got into his car.

"Morning baby girl," He smirked, looking into the side mirror to check for cars.

"Are we going to see Jax after school?" I decided to ignore his greeting.

"Yup, if you want to that is."

"Of course I want to! He's my boyfriend, how can I let him suffer alone?" I turned my head to look at him. His lips were pressed into a thin line and then silence.

"So...want to tell me about yesterday?" I asked slowly.

"I was with you the whole day, what's there to say?" He turned the steering wheel left.

"Well, you know, Emilia?"

He sighed, "I told you, it's between us."

"But I'm your best friend, we shouldn't keep secrets from each other should we?" I pouted.

"Oh so now I'm your best friend," He chuckled, then I remembered telling him that Axel is my best friend.

"You were always my best friend," I lied.

"Then what happened to 'I still hate you so you're just my friend'?"

He remembered every single exact word I said yesterday. That reminded me, I still have his beanie. I rummaged through my bag and took his beanie out. "Here. Thanks for this," I passed it to him.

"No problem," He took the beanie from me using his free hand and put it on his lap. We turned into the school and I remembered I wanted to know what happened with Emilia yesterday.

"You haven't answered me, what happened? I really want to know. Please?" I pouted again, trying my best to give him puppy eyes. He frowned as we walked towards the main door. Please answer me. Please answer me. Please answer me.

"Nah. I'm not your best friend anyway, Axel is," He smirked.

"Hey! Axel's my best friend so he can't be yours." He crossed my arms and huffed playfully.

"I knew him before you were born so he's obviously my best friend." He rolled his eyes.

"If he's my best friend and your best friend, then you're my best friend too! So tell me."

"No it-"

"Hey guys! What are you 2 talking about?" A voice cut our conversation off.

"Hey bestie!" I ran towards Axel and wrapped my arms around his left arm, leaning my head on his left shoulder.

"What's wrong with her?" Axel asked Jeremy, whom shrugged.

"Can't I be close to my best friend?" I looked up at him.

"Best friend?" I raised an eyebrow, completely confused.

"Apparently she insists that you're her best friend," Jeremy rolled his eyes.

"He is!" I huffed at Jeremy. Axel looked at us as if we were 2 crazy people. I shot him a 'please be on my side' look, hoping he will gang up with me.

"No you're not," Axel smirked.

"In your face, sucker!" Jeremy laughed.

"No fair! You 2 ganged up on me," I crossed my arms. The 2 boys laughed as they turned to climb the stairs up to class.

"NOOOO! IT'S 2661! NOT 2658!" I whacked Axel from the back of his head. It's currently free period and the 3 of us are sitting in a quiet corner of the library doing Math (after pestering them for a long time). I have my purple coloured earpiece stuffed into my left ear, blasting some Shawn Mendes songs. Jeremy is (surprisingly) quiet, doing his Math assignment however, Axel is the complete opposite. He's doodling on his paper, humming some weird song that I've never heard before hence, me being a great friend, am helping him with his work. I've been teaching him the same question for the past 10 minutes and have repeated the answer 4 times already with the working but he's still giving the wrong answer! How?!

"I'm very sure it's 2658," He frowned, currently doodling what looks like a monkey.

"Is that a monkey?" I got distracted.

"This?" He pointed to that doodle. I nodded.

"It's you," He shrugged.

"Are you implying that I look like a monkey?!" I shrieked.

"SHHHHHH!"

I glared at the students sitting at the table opposite us. "You're such a bitch," I threw my eraser at him and it hit his forehead square.

"OW!" He rubbed the spot where the eraser hit him.

"Serves you right for calling me a monkey," I growled and plugged the other earpiece into my right ear, planning on ignoring him. It was silent for I don't know how long but I managed to finish one worksheet. Keeping my stationery, I turned to my right, where I placed my bag earlier on but it was gone.

First thought that comes to my mind?

Boys.

I pulled both earpiece out of my ear and glared at the 2 boys. "Where is my bag?" I growled. Jeremy didn't even react, he just continued to do whatever work he was doing. I glared at Axel who was looking at me innocently.

"Yes?" He gave me a toothy smile.

"My. Bag."

"Bag? What bag?"

I glanced around the table and finally saw what I was looking for. I snatched Jeremy's eraser from his hand ("Hey! I need that!" He shouted) and aimed it at Axel. "Woah girl, chill," Axel extended both his arms in front of him.

"My. Bag. Please." I repeated. He smirked and stood up, walking 4 shelves down the library and disappeared when he turned left. He reappeared again with my heavy bag.

"What do you keep in your bag? It weighs a ton!" He exaggerated. I rolled my eyes and snatched my bag from him.

"How did you take my bag? I was right beside it!" I'm suddenly curious though I'm still angry. Sort of.

"You were engrossed in your work. How do people even do that?"

"And you!" I threw the eraser at Jeremy.

"OUCH! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU WOMAN?!"

"SHHHHH!" The students shushed us again.

"You guys shhhhhhhh!" I glared at them.

"You knew he took my bag and you didn't tell me?!"

"Well, I'm his best friend so I'll obviously help him right?" He smirked.

"Why am I even friends with them?" I muttered, swinging my bag onto my shoulder before turning to leave.

"Cause you love us!" Jeremy shouted after me.

I can't help as a small smile creeped onto my face.
