‘When is she going to wake up’ A voice said.

‘Have patience Adam.’ Adam? That name, I knew that name… ‘I think she’ll come around soon. I’ll be at the big house if you need me.’  I heard a few noises and then everything was silent. After a few minutes there were some more noises.

‘How’s she doing?’

‘She’s still unconscious but Chiron says she’ll wake up soon.’

‘I’m sure she’ll be fine, bro.’

‘I hope so.’ I decided to try and open my eyes. I blinked and moved my hands. There was some stumbling.

‘You’re awake!’ Two voices told me in unison.

‘Um, yes? I am?’

‘How are you feeling?’ ‘We were so worried!’ they said once again at the same time making me stare at them in confusion.

‘Ok, now one at the time please.’

They looked at each other and then the other boy, the one I didn’t know said, ‘Hi, I’m Steven. How are you feeling?’ He looked a lot like Adam, the same hair colour, the same eye colour, the same blinding smile, which looked clouded with a worried expression.

‘I… I’m ok I think…’

He chuckled, ‘Well that doesn’t sound convincing.’ I looked around me taking in the room, there were some other beds but there weren’t any people in them. It looked like an infirmary.

‘You should keep calm.’ Adam told me while handing me a glass and motioning for me to drink it.

‘What is it?’

‘Just drink it.’ Steven said.

‘I will if you tell me what it is.’

‘Just drink it Eliana.’ Adam said shaking his head.

‘You aren’t gonna drug me are you?’

‘Just. Drink. It!’ They told me.

‘Geez sorry!’ I said taking a sip of the drink. ‘oh, this tastes good! What is it?’ They glared at me. ‘Okay sorry I’ll stop asking.’ It tasted like, this is going to sound weird but don’t judge, chocolate, caramel and marzipan, and It made me feel like I was standing with my feet in the sand on a hot summer’s day. I closed my eyes and sighed deeply, enjoying the feeling. Someone coughed, snapping me out of my daydream.

‘Earth to Eliana…’

‘Yes. Sorry.’

They chuckled again. ‘How are you feeling now?’ Adam asked.

‘Much better.’

‘Good enough to get up?’ I nodded and got out of bed, stumbling a few steps because of dizziness before standing up straight.

‘Sooo where are we going?’ they stood on either side of me, like they were scared I would faint.

‘Downstairs, we’re in The big house.’

‘The what?’

‘The big house.’

‘What are we going to do downstairs?’

‘We’re going to introduce you to Chiron and Mr. D.’

‘And they are….?’

‘You ask a lot of questions don’t you?’

‘Yes, yes I do. Are you going to answer them or what?’

‘Activities Director and Camp Director.’
