Dedicated to VeryWeird for coming up with some cool ideas which really helped me a lot. Without them I wouldn’t have had a clue what to do next. So yeah thanks a lot :D

I had been  banging my head against the stone wall for quite some time before Gabriel pulled me away and told me to sit quietly without hurting myself. A little while later I was rolling on the floor, groaning in agony. ‘How long have we been here?!’ I complained.

Atalanta was the only one who looked up at me. ‘Ten minutes Eliana…’

‘Ow…’ Was all I said. Then I groaned again. ‘That’s like a freaking month!’

‘How in the world is ten minutes like a month?’ Atalanta muttered softly but I acted like I didn’t hear her. Cause I can, and honestly I had no idea how to answer to that one.

I slammed my hands against the walls in frustration. ‘GET. ME. OUT. OF. THIS. HELL. HOLE!’ I yelled hitting the wall again with each word. Gabriel grabbed my hands ones again and made me sit down.

‘Before you actually hurt yourself.’ He said with a sigh. I said something inaudible, honestly I had no idea what I was saying. I was just making random noises, making them sound like words.

Then the door opened and I looked up expectantly.

‘We need to speak to Eliana.’ I acted as though I was stupid. Okay, maybe I was. A little, or a lot. But that’s not the point now is it? But what is? I honestly don’t remember. ‘Eliana.’ I didn’t react. ‘ELIANA, NOW!’ I flew up.

‘Hm? Sorry what?’ I asked confusedly. I’m awesome at acting dumb.

That’s because you are. A voice inside my head told me. What the actual fudgyness? Since when do I have an inside mind voice? I mentally shrugged. I was okay with it as long as it didn’t pee on the mental carpet.  I wonder who I inherited my insanity from? Was my dad crazy? That’d be so cool. Apollo is crazy. Sounds alright. I followed the Romans out. Romulus-ans, Remus-ans. Hehe Remus. Remus Lupin. Lupin-ans. I laughed out loud and they all looked at me like I was crazy. Hehe they were so right.

‘1, 8, 4, 7.’ I said randomly. Yes I was trying to scare them with my craziness. No, it hadn’t worked yet.

They brought me into a room and told me to sit down. As I waited I ticked on everything I could find singing some random song. Then someone walked in and said my name.

I shushed them and finished my song. ‘Yes?’ I asked when I was finished.

‘We want to make a compromise.’

‘Go on. I’m not listeni- I mean, Go on. I’m listening.’ I said.

‘In exchange for the freedom of your friends and other campe-‘

‘Wait!’ I interrupted. ‘You are saying that the others are here?’ He nodded in confirmation. ‘Crap! We were so close!’

‘As I was saying.’ He started loudly. ‘In exchange for the freedom of your friends and the other campers, we want you to stay here.’ He walked closer and stopped in front of my chair. He grabbed my face in one hand, so my face was all screwed up. I resembled a duck. Hehe. Ducks. ‘We want you to be our link to the other side. You.’ He stopped for a dramatic effect. ‘Will be my bride.’

My jaw dropped and I did what every crazy/normal/demi-god/cool/awesome/sexy/amazing/fabu- sorry what was I saying? Oh yeah. I spit in his face and yelled. ‘Screw you!’ and I was slapped across my cheek. Well that’s just awesome, I thought sourly.

‘Well, that’s where you’re disillusioned.’

‘wow, what are you trying? Do you want to confuse me with fancy, difficult words?’ I said. It was working.

‘don’t you ever shut up?!’ Someone in the background snarled at me. Hehe, they were background.

‘Nope.’ I said popping the P.

‘AS I WAS SAYING!’ He said again. He must really like to hear himself speak, ego much? ‘You have no choice…’ He stopped again for a dramatic effect. What a drama-queen. ‘Unless, if you want your friends to die.’ He smirked. ‘Tell me tomorrow. Take her away.’ He said and I was taken back to the others. That… That… I failed thinking of swearing words to describe my feelings. None of them seemed bad enough. That was definitely a first.
