Fake blondes and more Romans

So now we were walking alongside each other in the dense forest, trying to escape every three seconds. I took a deep breath before trying again. I stuck my leg out in front of the girl who, as I’d hoped, tripped over it and fell to the floor. I stifled a laugh as I elbowed the boy ,who was holding my arms behind my back, in his stomach. He grunted and let go. Just as I was about to attack another one of them, the girl who I’d previously tripped slapped me in the face. Like, a real slap. I gasped. My cheek tingled and stung and I gave the girl one of my evilest glares yet. She didn’t seem intimidated. Damn. She shook her, obviously fake, blonde hair away from her face.

‘Where the Ha-‘ I started but Amy interrupted me by loudly yelling, ‘HUFFLEPUFF!’ I rolled my eyes and started again.

‘Where the Hades are you taking us?’ I demanded.

‘Who’s Hades?’ The girl said with her stupid, annoying, slutty, high-pitched voice. In case you were wondering. Yes, I didn’t like her a single bit.

‘Could you stop talking? Your voice is like Tartarus for me.’ I smirked. She slapped me again. I was glad she did. Okay that came out totally wrong. What I meant was that they all had daggers, spears, swords, bows and arrows. Believe me. I’d rather have her slapping me than have her cutting my guts out. My mind started wondering off. What are they doing at camp right now? Are they having dinner? I want dinner. I am hungry. Hey, I wonder if those Romans have any food. I decided to ask. ‘Hey you!’ I shouted nodding my head to the boy behind me.

‘What.’ He snapped. Wow, someone’s in a bad mood.

‘I’m huuuuuuuungryyyyy.’ I complained. I heard Gabriel, who was closest to me, chuckle. He must know what I was trying to do.

‘Shut up.’ Was the only answer I got. I pouted and to top it off, my belly rumbled.

‘You hear that?’ I asked him. ‘That was my belly whining. It wants food.’ He ignored me this time. ‘Food. Food. Sweet delicious food. I’m so hungry-‘ I started singing to the tune of ‘Hair’, until that son of a Roman bitch slapped me again. Okay, daughter. ‘KNOCK IT OFF!’ I yelled at her. My cheek really hurt. ‘GO BACK TO TARTARUS!’ Once again she didn’t seem intimidated.

‘How long does she have to stay with us?’ The fake blonde complained to a tall dark haired boy.

‘We just have to drop them off.’ He said. ‘Let the camp directors deal with them.’

‘Oooooh.’ I sang. ‘Who aaaaaare they?’

‘Shut up.’

‘Is she normally like this?’ I heard one of the Roman girls ask Adam.

‘Yes. This is completely normal.’

‘I feel pity for you.’

‘You get used to it after a while. She’s my little sister. I have no choice.’

‘SHUT UP ADAM.’ I yelled at him and I got slapped again. ‘Seriously?! How do you have friends?! You’re NOT a nice person.’

‘I don’t need to be nice.’ She said. ‘I have power.’ I laughed.

‘Sure you do. So does every single one of us. We’re nice.’

(A/N I don’t know everything about camp Jupiter yet because I haven’t read Son of Neptune yet ): so I apologize if there are mistakes. Every information I use is from Rick Riordan’s website.)

Just as the girl started to argue with me, the boy she’d been talking to earlier said, ‘We’re home.’ I looked up to see a tunnel and I snorted.

‘Your entrance is a tunnel? Ugl-‘

SHUT UP ALREADY.’ Now she was pissed. I stifled a laugh. After we were taken across camp we ended up in front of a small house.

‘What’s that.’

‘The senate house.’

‘ugl-‘

‘If you don’t stop talking we’ll feed you to the lions!’

‘Oh my gods! You have lions?’ She waited for me to freak out. ‘THAT’S SOO COOL!’ I yelled out. ‘I want a lion! Can I cuddle it?!’

Obviously not the reaction she was waiting for. ‘No! We want it to eat you!’

‘It won’t. Animals like me.’ I offered them all a sweet smile.

‘Not all of them.’ Steven snorted. I glared at him. I knew he was referring to that night I found  a worm in our cabin. Well, it wasn’t my fault that I screamed. I hate bugs.

They took us inside and told us to sit down on some benches. In front of us sat twelve people on a sort of stage thing. I felt like I was in a courtroom. What is this for place?!

‘Explain yourself.’ We were told. I shared a look with the others but I didn’t speak. I just stared back at them.

‘Speak!’

‘Where are we and why are we here?’

‘We ask the questions!’

‘I won’t answer yours before you’ve answered mine.’

‘Camp Jupiter. Now, what were you doing on our territory?’ Once again I stifled a laugh. What were they, animals?

‘We’re just passing through! We’re on a quest! Those stupid losers over there,’ I pointed at the people who’d brought us in. ‘Practically kidnapped us and brought us here!’

‘What’s your quest?’

‘That’s none of your freaking business!’

‘Watch your tongue.’ He said arrogantly.

‘Don’t tell me what I have to do!’ I retorted, my hand finding my dagger. I pointed it towards them.

‘Take their weapons.’

‘What? NO!’ I shared a look with Atalanta. We nodded at each other. ‘NOW!’ We both attacked at the same time and the others followed. I grinned when I saw the fake blonde. This was gonna be a whole lot of fun. My dagger made a huge gash on her arm. Everything went okay for a while until they called reinforcements and we were overpowered. Before we knew it we were locked up.

Crap…
