"Wow cool the outside of this gym looks like an average building but on the inside its like the inside of a volcano" said lily "yep this is definitely a fire type gym" said Matthew "man greninja lucky he probably isn't feeling any of the heat that were felling seeing he is a water type pokemon." said tom "yeah greninja so lucky I wish I was a greninja right now" says Matthew greninja starts blushing. "Where is this gym leader anyways?" asked Matthew "I'm guessing behind this massive odd metal door maybe but your guess is as good as mine" says tom. Matthew goes to grab the handle to open the door "Ow! it burns!" says Matthew "but your wearing finger less gloves?" says Lily "yeah I know" replied Matthew "hey I have an idea greninja can you open the door for us please" "greninja!" it replied then it grabbed the handle and opened the door then they walked in "wow I want a be a greninja too Matthew" says tom "same" says lily.

"welcome to my gym" says a man "are you the gym leader?" asked Matthew "why yes I am" he replied "I'm William the Ascot vale city gym leader and I think you probably know what type I specialise in note the lack of air conditioning in the gym" "that's why its so hot!" says lily". the battle field was glass and you could see lava underneath you when you battle. "We are gathered here to watch Matthew the challenger verse the Ascot vale city gym leader three pokemon each and only the challenger can use substitutions" said the referee "ooh three pokemon interesting" said lily "booka booka bookepei!" Cheered bookepei. "let the battle begin" said the referee "ok then go fletchinder" said William as he throws out a pokeball and out comes fletchinder "ok then go Daniel!" said matthew as he chucked the pokeball out onto the field and out came Daniel. "hmm fletchinder what pokemon is that?" says lily so she pulls out her pokedex "Fletchinder the Ember Pokémon The hotter the flame sac on its belly, the faster it can fly, but it takes some time to get the fire going" says dexter "oh ok" says lily as she puts her pokedex back.

"fletchinder use Flame charge" orded William "quick dodge it!" said Matthew then Daniel jumps out of the way before the flame charge hit "Daniel use thunderbolt!" said Matthew "dan dan Daniel!" it cried as a shock of thunderbolt hit fletchinder " quick while its weak use quick attack" said Matthew "dan dan dan dan dan dan" it said as it charge super fast at fletchinder BOOM "Fletchinder is unable to battle which means the first round goes to Daniel" said the referee "yay go Matthew!" cheered lily and tom "Daniel Daniel!" chered Daniel then Daniel started glowing "what the?" said Matthew "What's happening" said lily "its evolving!" cheered tom then Daniel stopped glowing "dan dan" cried Dandan "woah Daniel just evolved into a Dandan amazing" said Matthew

"Oh Well fletchinder return" says William then fletchinder gets sucked into the pokeball "Well the battle hasn't stopped yet go Flareon" said William then out of the pokeball emerged a Flareon "Flare Flare" it said "ok then Dandan use thunderbolt" orded Matthew "quick dodge and use Flare blitz" said William. then flareon dodge the thunderbolt really quickly "wow its fast this is one tough flareon" Matthew thought to himself "oh no Daniel watch out for the flare blitz !" Cried Matthew "dan dan?" said Dandan then it turned around and the flare blitz hit Dandan right in the face "oh no Dandan!" said Lily "Daniel....oh sorry Dandan is unable to battle Flareon won the second round!" said the referee "oh no Dandan return" said Matthew then Dandan gets sucked into the pokeball "you did great out there Dandan oh well greninja your up" Then greninja jumps onto the field "ok greninja use double team!" said Matthew then in no time greninja had at least 20 copys on the field. "flare flare?" syas flareon looking at all the greninja doubles in confusion. "flareon flamethrower them all!" said William "flareon!" said flareon as a geist of fire comes out of its mouth and gets rid of the copies but also makes steam "this is our chance now greninja use hydro pump!" demanded Matthew then out of the stem greninja fired a blast of water directly at flareon THUD "flareon is unable to battle which means the winner is greninja" called the referee "yay greninja!" cheered lily and tom "alright my last hope of winning go Charizard!" said William

"ROAR!" roared charizard "amazing!" said Tom "ok then greninja use  Water Shuriken" ordered Matthew "grenin nin ja" cried greninja and it through out 5 water shuriken at Charizard doing great damage " charizard use Fire blast!" said William "just as planed" Matthew thought "now greninja use areil ace!" said Matthew. Then greninja jumped into the air dodging the fire blast and slashed at charizard "ROAR!" THUD charizard had fainted on the ground " charizard is unable to battle which means the winner of this battle is Greninja and Matthew" said the referee "YAY WELL DONE!" cheered lily and tom "yay greninja you did it you won your first gym match!" said Matthew "well done here is the magma badge you earned it!" said William "Thanks so much!" said Matthew "that was an amazing battle it had me off my seat the whole time!" said lily as they walked out the door "next gym hillside city gym!" said Matthew "trust me the gym leader there she is nice trust me!" said lily "great" said Matthew
