Chapter 26

Matthew pushed open the door to the gym field. "WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING!" cried Matthew. In the field room it was a deluxe white and golden field room and there in the bleachers were Lily, Acerola, Tom and an other girl with a drink of Tapu coca (an Alolan hot chocolate) and chopped berries under an umbrella with a spotlight on them to re enacting the sun "ah! this is so relaxing" said Lily 'sigh' "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS" cried Matthew "Oh hi Matthew" said Acerola "is this the person you were talking about" said the girl "yeah it is" said Tom "who is that" asked Matthew to Tom the girl got up from her seat and walked over to Matthew at the entrance "Welcome to The Pascoe vale gym I'm Arianna the gym leader" said Arianna "Oh ok I'm here for a battle for the badge" "you mean this one" said Arianna holding a badge in her hand "This is the poltergeist badge "cool". Then Gourgeist and Mismagius fly through the wall and come in the gym "Arianna watch out!" cried Matthew.

 "Oh so you've met my pokemon huh" said Arianna "Wait there yours?" "Don't worry Matthew" called out Lily from the bleachers "You see I was leaning against a wall and it moved and I fell and Mismagius caught me and put me here in the bleachers of the gym" "Yeah and when I went into the other room I found Gourgeist painting me in the painting I found it amazing then it let me grab its hair and we flew down a trap door and I got here and found Lily" said Acerola "And that portal I went in that just lead me here" said Tom "Wait so how did you get here Matthew?" asked Arianna "Well you see after Tom fell in the portal I ran for the door and it was locked so I ran into the room with the old lady painting and the Old lady was gone and when I got really scared I fell down a trap hole and landed on the couch in the waiting room" said Matthew "What the painting of my grandma moved!" said Arianna. Then Arianna turned and Looked at Mismagius and Gourgeist, Then Gourgeist and Mismagius looked like they didn't have anything to do with it. "Umm lets just Battle" said Arianna "Agreed" replied Matthew

The referee came onto the field "We are here today to see Matthew the challenger verse the Pascoe vale city Gym leader Arianna only 4 pokemon and no substitutions" 'Ok then who should I choose" said Matthew "lets see ghost and dark are super effective so go Juplo" said Matthew. Then out of one of Matthews pokeball came Juplo "Juplo" cheered Juplo "Booka Booka" cheered Bookepei "Oh your the best Fairy type" said Lily "Ok then Mismagius your up" said Arianna then Mismagius flew onto the field "Juplo use Crunch" said Matthew Juplo started charging at Mismagius at extreme speed. "Quick dodge and use shadow sneak" said Arianna then Mismagius flew out of the way of the crunch then put her hands into the ground creating a shadow then it went behind Juplo and striked from behind "Oh no Juplo!" cried Matthew then Juplo fell to the ground "Juplo can you still battle?". Then Juplo got back up and looked ready for another hit "Ok use Dark pulse" demanded Matthew. Juplo whirled up some dark energy and shot it at Mismagius  "Quick use Phantom force" said Arianna. Mismagius instantly vanished "Where is Mismagius?" questioned Matthew "Stay on guard Juplo it could strike at anytime". Then from Behind Juplo Mismagius came "Look out Juplo!" cried Lily but it was too late Mismagius Striked Juplo and Juplo fainted on the ground.

"Juplo is unable to battle which means this round goes to Mismagius" said the referee "Juplo return" said Matthew then he returned Juplo to its Ball. "Ok go Greninja" said Matthew he through his pokeball and out came Greninja "Greninja" cheered Greninja pumping its fist in the air. "Ok Mismagius use Phantom force" said Arianna Then Mismagius disappeared "Just like I suspected" Thought Matthew with a grin "Matthews up to something I know it" said Tom "Now Greninja use Double Team" ordered Matthew. Then there were Greninja clones everywhere in a circle on the field "Oh no!" cried Arianna. Mismagius slashed at a Greninja then the Greninja disappeared "Mismag?" said Mismagius in a confused tone "Now!" ordered Matthew and The real Greninja jumped up and Night slashed Mismagius from behind "Its super effective" said Lily. Mimsagius fainted on the ground "Mismagius is unable to battle so that round goes to Greninja" said The referee "way to go!" cheered Matthew "come here Greninja" said Matthew then after hugging 57 copies and hi fiving 23% all the Greninja's were back on the field

 "Your up Gourgeist" said Arianna Gourgeist flew onto the field "Gour" Gourgeist cried "Now Gourgeist use Trick or Treat" said Arianna then some ghost's got shot at all the Greninja's then all the ghost's stop "What does Trick or treat do?" asked Matthew "It makes the opposing Pokémon ghost as the second type but seeing your Greninja is Water/Dark its now Water/Ghost until the end of this battle or if Greninja faints" explained Arianna "Ok I hope that doesn't effect us now Greninja's use water shuriken" said Matthew then the Greninja's jumped in the air and shot water shuriken at Gourgeist "Hmm 57x4=228 so 288 WATER SHURIKENS THATS AMAZING!" said Tom BANG! they all hit Gourgeist and Gourgeist fainted "Gourgeist is unable to battle which means that round goes to Greninja again!" said The referee "Yay Go Matthew" Cheered Acerola from the Bleachers. "Well done Matthew I'm very impressed" said Tom "Thanks you guys!" replied Matthew "Gourgeist return" then Gourgeist got sucked back into its Ball.

"I wonder what her next Pokémon is?" asked Matthew "Go Mimikyu" cried Arianna "Oh yay! Mimikyu! I have one!" cheered Acerola "come on out and watch Mimikyu!" then Acerola chucked the Pokeball and Mimikyu was sitting on Acerola's lap. Bookepei and Lily were uncomfortable with Mimikyu sitting next to them so Lily stared at Mimikyu then Mimikyu turned its creepy head and stared at Lily with its vacant face "Ahhh" screamed Lily. "Greninja!" cried Greninja it was scared of Mimikyu. "Come on Greninja your way taller than it and you've got yourself to comfort you in fact 57 of you" said Matthew. That raised Greninja's confidence and all 57 Greninja's pumped their fist's in the air in sync in time " woah I want clones" said Matthew "Now Greninja's use Night slash" "Ok now 57x2=114 so 114 slashes" said Tom 'SLASH'. Then Arianna's Mimikyu's head fell off "AHHH" screamed Lily "Bookepei!" cried Bookepei in a scared voice. "Don't think I didn't come un prepared now Greninja use Water shuriken" ordered Matthew then 228 Water shuriken were shot a Mimikyu. " Mimikyu use shadow claw" said Arianna. Under Mimikyu's cloth a hand of dark energy came and wiped out all the Greninja clones and Greninja. Greninja got hit and was scared and fainted "Greninja is unable to battle which means that round goes to Mimikyu" said the Referee "Well done Greninja return" said Matthew and Greninja returned to its pokeball

"Ok if we could do what we did against Bryson we should do it now go Dandan!" cried Matthew he through his pokeball and out came Dandan "Dandan!" cheered Dandan. Dandan turned around and look at Matthew and they nodded. "Dandan use Electro Ball" said Matthew, Dandan whirled up a ball of electricity and fired it at Mimikyu. Bang direct hit but Mimikyu was still up but looked a bit damaged "Now use Extreme speed" ordered Matthew then Dandan goes around dashing around the room and slashed Mimikyu then it fainted "Mimikyu is unable to battle which means the winner of this match is Matthew" said the referee "But its four pokemon in this battle?" asked Matthew "Well my last pokemon Driftblim I forgot to heal it so yeah you win!" said Arianna "Yay what luck!" cheered Matthew 'sigh' sighed Lily and Tom and Acerola. "Here the poltergeist badge" said Arianna handing the badge to Matthew "Alright I just got the Poltergeist badge!" cheered Matthew "Thanks the battle was amazing see ya soon!" said Arianna "Bye" they said and they climbed back up the ladder and left the gym.
