New: Merle's Missing

Megan's pov:

I woke up the next morning feeling rested for once. I looked over at Logan, he looked like he got beaten to near death "Logie" I whispered stroking his hair. I threw the covers back on the bed and climbed out, I walked into the kitchen to see Maggie cooking breakfasts.

"Hey' I said tiredly poring myself a cup of coffee "hey" she smiled back putting eggs onto a plate "thanks again, for letting us stay here" I said pulling up a chair to sit on "it weren't me, it's my dad you should be thanking" Maggie left the room with the 2 plates of food.

I walked into the living room and Kendall and Lucy were just getting up "hey Meg" Kendall yawned "hi" I smiled sitting on the floor in front of carlos and Danielle. "sleep well?" I asked Lucy seeing her hair all messed up "yeah, that air-bed really is uncomfortable though" she moaned rubbing her back "how's Logan?" she asked back, sitting in Hershel's chair "he's fine, hasn't woken up yet but Merle and Daryl...." I stopped myself suddenly realising something, I left Lucy and walked into the bedroom I slept in. I looked around 'no Daryl and no Merle' I walked back out quietly shutting the door and walking back to sit down.

"paranoid much?" Lucy joked "sorry, I just didn't trust Merle but they're not in there" I said confused "maybe they went out" Lucy suggested. Just then Hershel walked in and glared at Lucy, Lucy just looked up at him smiling, I cleared my throat and nodded towards hershel but Lucy still didn't seem to get the hint "Lucy he wants him chair" I sort of shouted at her "oh!" Lucy nodded slidding off to sit next to me, hershel sat on his chair and opened the book he was reading last night. Everything was quiet, too quiet 'where's Merle and Daryl?'

James' pov:

I worked up with arms around me, I looked down and saw Tilly cuddling into my chest 'yes!' I thought getting ready to jump up but then I saw Tilly stir so I stayed still letting her sleep "I knew you wouldn't leave me" I whispered kissing her head.

She stirred even more moments later letting me know that she was awake "hey sleeping beauty" I smiled down at her "James?" she whispered opening her eyes wider, she sat up and hugged me but then hissed out in pain "oh Tiggy" I cringed letting her lay back down.

Tilly lifted up her shirt and saw a bandage around her torso "what happened?" she asked confusion in her voice "we crashed" I said simply "you took the full impact, me and Hershel had to crack a rib in place" I explained to her, "really?" she asked teary "yeah, you passed out after because of all the pain" she sat up whincing at every movement but hugged me anyway "I love you Jay" she whispered in my ear "I love you too" I hugged her back.

I got up because I needed a pee leaving Tilly by herself, I passed another bedroom and saw the farm girl...Beth! standing by her dressing table looking at some photo, I didn't disturb her though and went on my hunt to find the bathroom.

Kendall's pov:

I was in the kitchen making some coffee when there was a bang coming from outside "what was that?!" Megan panicked as her and Lucy came running into the kitchen "I don't know, stay here" I instructed as I walked out the back door to the big field Hershel had. I walked into an open barn and saw Daryl kicking and throwing things "hey daryl! what's up?" I shouted over the horses neighing "Merles gone" he muttered "what? what do you mean he's gone?" I groaned walking closer to him "he left when I woke up, I came out here and his truck was gone" Daryl started to get worked up again and kicked a upside down bucket "Daryl, come inside and we'll help you find him" I said softly, Daryl opened his mouth ready to shout and scream but then he closed it again and muttered 'shit' under his breath before kicking the barn door.

By the time we got in the house everyone was up and moving including Tilly and Logan "Tilly!" I cheered, kissing her cheek "how you feeling?" "like shit" she chuckled getting a light chuckle off Daryl.

I walked over to Logan as Daryl talked with Tilly and James "Logan, you alright?" I asked patting his back "never better" he smiled sincerely, I nodded approving and turned to Megan "what happened?" she asked referring to the banging outside "Merle's gone, he's taken his truck" I whispered to her so no-one else would hear "what are we going to do?" "we're going to go and find him" I said simply "are you out of your mind?" Logan suddenly butted in "I'm sorry to interrupt but are we talking about the same person that wanted to leave us?" I frowned "maybe...." Logan shook his head before walking away "when do we leave?" "in 5 minutes" I informed her going to tell James, Lucy and Daryl the plan.

Tilly's pov:

"but I want to go!" I pouted "Tilly you just recovered from a crash, stay here with Logan" kendall said placing a hand on my shoulder "fine" I sighed "yeah, ye just a little girl anyway" Daryl smirked "little?! how old are you?" I asked extremely pissed off "I'm 32" he continued to smirked "I'm 18" I glared at him "there's only 14 years between us" Daryl just turned around and walked outside "just please.... stay here" James begged "yes" I nodded "I love you" he planted a kiss on top of my head as the others walked out "love you too" I whispered turning to look at Carlos who was frowning in his sleep.

James' pov:

"Merle! Merle?!" Daryl was yelling every five seconds "Daryl its getting Dar...." Daryl spun around on his heels cutting me off "what?! its getting DARK?!" Lucy and Megan jumped back in surprise as Daryl shouted "it is and the girls are going to...." "oh no! don't bring us into this" Lucy cut me off this time "can I at least finish one sentence?!" I yelled, throwing my hands in the air "sorry" Lucy smiled nervously stepping behind Kendall.

"Daryl, we'll pick up where we left off tomorrow" I assured him, reaching to place my hand on his shoulder but he just stepped forward "you can say that...." Daryl muttered "what?" I walked closer to him "its not y'all family out there. oh no, its just Merle, its fine we'll pick up where we left off tomorra" Daryl's rants got louder and louder making the girls back away

"Daryl we're sorry but we didn't tell Merle to leave" Kendall said smartly "what?" Daryl asked through gritted teeth as he looked up at Kendall, I had to literally jump in front of him so he didn't lash out at Kendall "fuck you" Daryl muttered letting go of my arm and walking away. "Daryl, where are you going?" I called after him "to find Merle" he simply shouted back.

"should we go after him?" Lucy asked looking in the direction Daryl went. "nah, its getting dark and we're no good in the dark" Kendall said "we'll have to go back, Daryl's a big boy he knows his way back" I chuckled a little to lighten the mood "let's go" we all walked back to the farm.

I FEEL SORRY FOR DARYL, HE HAS NO-ONE TO COMFORT HIM ALTHOUGH HE GOT HIS KICKS OUT OF PICKING ON TILLY BUT HE'S ALL ALONE NOW ;) UNTIL NEXT TIME!
