James' pov:

"we can't stay here, its not safe" Hershel stated, leaning against his truck "well we can't get very far on black smoke, we need fuel" I said while Tilly and Maggie were scavenging the deserted cars "there's plenty of cars genius, take your pick" Tilly smirked at me as I glared at her comment "me, Carlos, Danielle and Beth will check these cars for supplies. You, Maggie and Hershel sython the fuel from these cars" we all nodded at Tilly and walking in opposite directions, Carlos being Carlos, had a arm around both Beth and Tilly as they walked away.

We managed to sython 3 and a half cartons of fuel, that should be enough. Just then the smell of rotting corpse filled my nostrils, I looked up and saw a herd of about 30 walkers shuffling our way "Tilly, Maggie... under the cars" I whispered motioning for them to get down. they looked in my direction in horror, I turned around and saw a female walker lunging at me.

I held it off with my arm so it wouldn't bite but it was snapping and drooling. I closed my eyes knowing this was it. I felt the weight crush me, I popped one eye open and saw the same walker laying dead with a big bullet hole in its head.

I crawled from underneath it and saw a women with greyish hair standing over me "urm.... thanks" I said as she held a hand out for me "Carol" she introduced her name "James, do you know where my group is?" I frowned changing the subject. She pointed behind her where two guys and a black haired girl were hugging Tilly and the others, their backs were turned to me so I couldn't see their faces.

"I'm so glad your ok" Tilly smiled leaning away from the black haired girl she was hugging "you too" I recognised the girls voice and ran up to her with Carol walking behind me "Lucy!" I yelled embracing her in a bear hug "we missed you" I whispered in her hair "well we missed you too" I pulled back and looked at her confused, she smiled and a dirty blonde figure caught my eye "Kendall?"

Kendall's pov: (10 minutes earlier)

we got on the highway and saw loads of cars blocking our way, Daryl turned off the truck and hopped out "we walk from here" he gruffed, lowering the tail gate so me and Lucy could get out.

I walked next to Carol and saw a gun sticking out of her jeans "where'd you get that gun from?" "Rick..... the leader of my old group gave it to me when he left me to fend for myself" she sounded so sad it broke my heart "well that leader sounds like a Dick" I said trying to cheer her up and she gave me a small smile.

"what's that?!" I looked up at Lucy and she was staring at something... tail lights. We sped up and heard a moan and a grunt, Daryl pointed for Carol to go left and we went right. Just then a gun shot rang out and we come out from behind a car and came face to face with weapons.

Tilly's pov:

We all heard the gun shot and spun round to see 3 figures standing behind a car, bearing in mind the sun was setting. The figures came closer as we trailed our weapons on them "stop right there" Hershel commanded making the figures freeze "T-Tilly?" I squinted my eyes to see who said my name "Lucy?" I suddenly recognized her voice "oh my god!" she shrieked as she ran up to me and embraced me in a hug "hey what about me?" Carlos ran past us as if we were invisible and ran right into Kendall's arms "haha. I missed you too Litos" he chuckled while ruffling Carlos' hair.

After our little 'reunion' Kendall finally spoke up "where's Logan?" he looked around expectantly, smiling brightly, megan who was standing by the truck shook her head making Kendall's smile drop and Lucy was on the verge of tears "oh Meg!" Lucy cried to her as they both fell to the floor in each others arms.

James came back after a while with a women trailing behind him "urm... Jay?" James looked up at me "your shadow is kind of.... feminine" I smirked, I'm sorry I had to. He shook his head and gave Kendall one of those 'bro hugs' he then hugged Daryl with one are and patted him on the back, Daryl doing the same "we missed you man" James smiled through the dark night, Daryl grunted as always and shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot.

"we should really get off this road for the night" a lady that was MUCH older than me with greyish hair said. I frowned in confusion, I looked around while pointing to her "who the hell's this?" "that's Carol" Kendall nodded towards her "her and Daryl found each other, been by each others side ever since" Lucy added.

3rd person pov:

"well Carol.... where do you suggest we go?" Tilly asked with more venom than she realized "well there's.... Fort Bennings?" Carol said timidly "not bad. guys?" Tilly looked around and they everyone nodded "ok so.... Fort Bennings" they all nodded again. "this is the start of a new beginning" Kendall sighed happily.

Daryl and Carol smiled at each over while intertwining their fingers, James pulled Tilly in for a one armed hug and kissed the top of her head. Carlos and Beth held each other close like their lives depended on it while Kendall and Lucy hugged each other as Lucy sniffed from crying. Danielle was just being her normal self, arrogant and insane. Hershel and Maggie on the other hand were finally glad to have a really family again, people they can love and protect but in Megan's case her only reason for living was Logan but God works in mysterious ways.......
