"It's so pretty in here. Did you decorate all by yourself?" Sitting next to Ryan, Felix asked Mark as he admired the room.

"I rearranged it. Matt did most of the placement before he... moved. I didn't bother messing with much. It fits me," Mark responded as he went to take a seat on the other empty couch. "You can sit by me, Jack. I don't bite." Mark smiled at Jack as he looked at him with uncertainty. "Come." Mark patted the empty space next to him.

Jack walked over to the couch and sat. He tried his hardest not to stare at Mark.

"I think it fits you, also. Hey, isn't that what Amy got you?" Felix pointed towards a cute, blue fuzzy dog toy that was sitting on the coffee table.

"Oh, yeah. She bought it for Chica yesterday. How'd you know?" Mark questioned as he leaned to reach the toy. Jack tried to avoid staring at Mark's bottom, but he couldn't resist.

Felix cleared his throat as he saw Jack and he turned bright red, turning his face away from Mark before Mark could see. Mark sat back up, unaware. "She told me. And I like it, it's a nice gift."

Mark hummed in response as he threw the toy across the room and Chica chased it. Mark looked over to Jack who is trying hard not to be noticed.

"You alright Jack? You look a bit red. Are you hot? I can turn on a fan," Mark said as he went to get up and turn on the ceiling fan.

Jack hurriedly grabbed Mark's shoulder before he could barely get off the couch and stuttered, "N-no, I'm fine, you don't have to do that."

Mark stopped and looked back at Jack with confusion while saying, "Oh okay." He sat back down onto the coach, a bit closer than before. No one noticed except Jack, of course. I hate him, Jack thought.

"You should have seen him just a few days ago, he looked like a tomato. He was pretty sick," Felix said out loud.

Jack shrunk into the couch even further, he felt embarrassed with the attention on him. "Y-yeah sick, pretty sick."

"At least you're better now, when I get sick I'm out of it for a few days. It sucks since I get down the sickness quite often. I go to the hospital way too many times than I should," Mark laughs but Jack sits up more as he watches him.

"You go to the hospital a lot? Are you okay?" Jack asks with worry.

Mark laughs at his concern. "I'm fine, my immune system just isn't the best. It's a curse, I swear."

"I remember one night I had to drive him to the emergency room in the middle of the night because he would just throw up and wouldn't stop. Ryan was with me and I could barely keep my eyes open. It was pretty bad," Matt adds. Jack just sits and tries to take it all in. He could just imagine it, yet, he didn't want to at all. He hated the feeling of sickness, but he couldn't imagine feeling like that commonly.

"Yeah, but I'm better now. See?" Mark smiled wide to show everyone, they laugh except Jack doesn't.

"I'm sorry," Jack blurts out as he looks at Mark. Mark looks at him while furrowing his eyebrows. "You're sick, a lot. And I'm sorry."

Mark smiles at him and says jokingly, "It's not your fault, silly. I can't control it."

"Let's get off the topic of sickness and talk about something more lively. How about I make us some smoothies and grab a board game?" Amy asks. Everyone agrees as she nods and goes into the kitchen to get started. Mark asks to help her but she refuses because 'she's an independent lesbian who doesn't need assistant from a semi-homo', as she put it.
