I stopped in my tracks. Sitting their at the table was Raven. My heart stopped I couldn't belive my eyes and when she seen me she glared daggers  at me. I walked to the oppsosite side of the table and sat across from Raven. Sighing I had a feelinng this was going to be a very long night. Blaire sat down next to me and slipped her hand in to mine. She was really shy around strangers and always stuck really close to me. Mom sat next to me and next to her Dad sat next to her. I was a spitting image of my Dad we looked exactly alike.

"Hello I'm your Alpha Tim this is my wife Ellen and my daughter Raven."

Dad said,"Hello I'm Mark this Sue my wife Blaire my daughter and Rick my son." The Alpha then went on about the rules of his land. Told us his peoples ways and other things he thought we should know.

"Rick so are you and my daughter in the same grade?" Alpha asked adressing me.

"Yes." I said. Raven muttered something under her breath getting everyones attention. Instantly she flushed with embrassment. That one little action had my wolf going crazy. Even just being in the same room with her made him go wild.

"Is there something you wanted to say Ravne?" Alpha asked.

"No but if we're done here can I go?" She replied. I stared at her and we she turned and met my eyes I was locked in. I couldn't take my eyes off her I had a strong urge to run and wrap my eyes around her claim her as mine. Ripping my eyes away from her eyes I fought the urge and my wolf fought back. He wouldn't be happy until Raven was in my arms but, I couldn't let that happen. Being tied down is not something I want for myself.

"Dad can I be excused or not?" Raven asked again annoyance creeping in to her voice. Sighing Alpha dismissed her then dismissed all with a thank you for coming to dinner. Instead of leaving with my parents I took a walk around the Pack grounds. I made my way in to a beautiful little garden and was startled to Raven standing with her back to me. Her scent drifted to my nose and I couldn't stop myself from inhaling as much ad I could.

"What are you following me now?" She spun on her heel. "Was rejecting me not enough what did you decide to come rub it in?"

I snapped at her,"Please why would I want to follow you! And yes rejecting you was enough because I'm free! I don't want to be tied down ever!" I stomped away from her and went in to the cover of the trees and shifted. I ran fast and free away from her my wolf didn't want to leave her behind it longed to back in the garden holding her. The farther away from I went the more guilt I felt well up in to me but, I didn't stop I pushed on fighting the guilt.
