Chapter Twenty One:Raven

I sprinted down the hall towards first period.

'Wait what the hell am i doing?! I'm late already so whats the point in showing up?' I came to halt right in front of the class door. Spinning on my heel, I headed towards the entrance of the school. I so wasn't in the mood for school anymore ,after seeing Rick.

I made it to my car before I was stopped. I knew I was in trouble when I recognized the voice of the speaker. My hearts beating picked up speed, my hands felt all clammy, and my tongue got the dry taste to it. I turned slowly and got trapped in a dazzling pair of black eyes.

'Fuck! Not again...'

"Skipping school are we now?" Rick smirked and his eyes lite up with amusement. As Rick said those words, I knew something changed in him. His became more cocky or as some people like to put it "confident".

"Looks like your skipping too. So there isn't much you can say then." I said. He pushed me up against my car door. I closed my eyes as his face came closer to mine.

"I can say your coming with me." He whispered in me ear. Grabbing my hand he dragged me to his Mustang shoving me gently into the passenger side.

I didn't really put up much of a fight. Since the new Rick kinda fascinated me and I found him very attractive.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked.

"You'll see."

"Wow." I got out of the car and took in my surroundings. Rick had taken me deep into the forest. It was so beautiful. There was a field with a open grassy area and a stream that ran through it.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Rick came to stand next to me and also took in the scenery. It was such a nice day and that seemed to make the forest come alive. It seems as if the forest is glowing in a way.

"How did you find this place?" I asked. Sitting down on the soft grass I felt myself instantly relax.

"Long story short. I went for a run and stumbled upon this beauty of a place." He sat next to me and studied my face.

"I'm shocked that you didn't protest coming with me." He whispered. I found his fingers in the grass and curled mine into his. Laying my head on his shoulder I then felt truly at peace.

"Rick I'm sorry. I knew you didn't do anything with Carmen. But it was just so hard to believe you when I seen it with my eyes. I guess eyes due play tricks."

UNKOWN POV:

Tomorrow will be the day I tell Raven that I like her as more than a friend. Seeing as Rick and her are over since, she can't even stand the sight of him.

Were is she though? I can't believe she didn't show for first period. But I know she's here I seen her this morning. But that's not important at the moment because tomorrow will be a big day for me. And without her here maybe I can practice how I'll tell her.
