Chapter Seventeen:Rick

I stared at the door to her house, working up the confidence to knock on her door. I had brought her a bouquet of red roses. Last night she had sent me a brief text saying she'd gotten grounded and I felt really bad. I really hoped she didn't get chewed out to bad. Even though, last night was one of the best nights of my life. I can still feel her lips against mine, and I hoped that feeling never goes away.

"How long are you planning on standing there?" I looked to see Raven smirking at me. I didn't even realise the door had opened. She stepped aside and I walked and was instantly face to face with her parents.

"So you must be the young man that had my daughter climbing through windows." I felt a blush creeping up my cheeks. I peered at Raven in the corner of my eye to see her trying to keep in a laugh.

"Uh sorry Alpha..I d-didn't mean t-t-to do that-t." I choked out. God I sounded like such a wuss. How the hell do I expect him to let me be the one to protect his daughter, with my life if I can't even speak to him properly?

"So what was so important that it couldn't wait till the morning? Or was this some kind of late night booty call?" I looked into the Alpha's narrowing grey eyes and knew he seriously expected an answer. My hands started to feel really clammy and I gripped the flowers that, I still hadn't given to Raven.

"Daddy! Are you suggesting that I'm just a booty call?" Raven looked murderously angry.

"No dear. I'm sure you Father wasn't suggesting that. I think he just wanted to get into this young mans head." I looked between Raven and her mother. Wow I could tell were she got her beauty from, she was practically a spitting image of her mother. While still listening their similarities in my head I didn't realise I was being talk-en to. Raven bumped her shoulder against mine to get my attention and my eyes instantly snapped to hers.

"Uh my mom was talking to you." I met her mothers eyes that were the green color as Ravens.

"Hello I'm Ellen Raven's mother and this is my husband Alpha Tim. But I think remember having dinner with your family a few months back." We shook hands and then we all just stood there awkwardly.

"So are those for me?" Raven looked at the flowers expectantly. I loosened my death grip on them and handed them to her. I was shocked when she threw herself at me after, receiving the flowers. Her arms and legs wrapped around my body. My hands were stuck at my side, what the hell is she doing her parents are right there?! She leaned in to kiss me, so I turned my head to the side so she got my cheek instead. Raven poked out her bottom lip in a sexy little pout. I resisted a huge urge to not bite it.

"Baby your parents are right there." I whispered in her ear. When my breath came out husky I was really in shock then. Damn it! Why did she have to turn me on so much. I'm just glad my lower body hadn't gotten the memo.

"Dear lets go. We should give them some privacy." I watched as Ellen dragged the Alpha out of the room. Surprisingly, he went without much of a fight. I kind of expected him to not trust me alone with his daughter after, last nights "booty call".

Raven pried herself off of me and grabbed my hand leading me to the stairs. When we entered her room and I ran to flop on the bed.

"Someones a little immature aren't they?" I grinned. I watched her every motion taking it all in. The way she walked with such a grace. How did I get so lucky?

"Hey babe. Do you think your dad would let you go out tonight?" Tonight was the biggest party of the year.

"Wait the party is this Saturday night?" Raven groaned. I walked over to her and hugged her to me. She leant her head, on her shoulder. I kissed her head and rested my head on hers. Her father appeared in the doorway. I seen him over the top of her head, looking at us with a small smile on his face. Raven still hadn't noticed him so, he clears his throat to get her attention. When he had her attention he began,"Your mother and I are going out to lunch. Can we trust you to here alone?"

"Yes Daddy. But can I ask you something really quick please?" Raven replied quietly. Her father instantly eyed us both. The way he looked at us was as if he were trying to figure out what she was going to say, before she said it.

"I w-was j-just wondering-g if-f Icouldgotoaparty." She stuttered the first part. But then she rushed out the last part.

"Your grounded Raven. Why should I let you go to this party?" The Alpha cocked an eyebrow. I was surprised he actually understood her. Raven put on a really sexy pouty face. But her father stood his ground.

"Raven I mean it!." The Alpha tried to be stern. But you could tell she was breaking him. After, a minute he did crack.

"Ray!" Tina rushed and threw her arms around Raven, and then surprisingly me. A blond hair dude whose name I think was Mark walked up with a girl. I instantly remembered as the girl from the computer lab. She was hanging off the blond guy who barely even, noticed her presence. No matter how hard she tried pushing herself on him

"Desperate!" Tina coughed out. I suppressed a laugh and I noticed Raven doing the same thing. As the girl with the brown hair and blond highlights glared at us. She was wearing a too tight mini dress that was purple that showed her round figure a lot! She looked like a freaking grape!

"Raven you stunning." The blond girl announced. His eyes raking over her body, with an intense look of lust in it. My wolf growled in anger and it took a lot not to pick him up and throw him across the room. Raven was wearing a black mini skirt and a strapless pink top with pink high heels. I noticed the girl glaring at her in jealousy as, she too noticed how the guy looked at her.

"Mark! I'm thirsty." whined the girl tugging on his shirt.

"Carmen go get something to drink." Mark mimicked the girl whose name was Carmen.

Suddenly the song Hero/Heroine by Boys Like Girls blasted on the speakers. Tina and Raven started jumping up and down excitedly. They rushed out to the dance floor swaying their hips to the beat of the music.Mark and I rolled our eyes.

"Well I'm gonna try to see if Tina will dance with me." Mark stated heading towards the dance floor. I tugged at the collar of my brown button up shirt. Damn, it was pretty hot in here. Well that's not surprising as, since practically the whole school was crammed in here.

"Ugh I guess Tina turned him down. Not surprising all she talks about is her precious Blake!" sneered Carmen. I looked out on to the floor were Raven and Mark were dancing with each other. They weren't grinding, but I still felt a hint of jealousy watching her dance with another guy.

"Didn't she come here with you?" asked Carmen.

"Yeah." A glint passed in her brown eyes. I eyed her suspiciously, because that looked she had in her seemed pretty sneaky to me. As the song ended and Tina,Mark,and Raven made their way back to us. I locked eyes with she gave me a flirty wink, that sent my heart into overdrive.

"Oops sorry!" cried Carmen as fell into my arms as a group pushed by her. She locked her arms around my waist 'trying to keep her balance'.

Carmen's POV

"Oops sorry!" I cried pretending a group that walked by me had pushed me causing me to lose my balance. I knew Raven was watching so, I wrapped my arms tightly around him. 'Trying to regain my balance'. He steadied me and as he did tripped over my feet and brought my arms around his neck bring him down a little with me. Damn he was really sexy! The way his black hair fell into his eyes or the way his black eyes bore into my brown ones. I crashed my lips to his as we steadied ourselves us in a standind position.

Someone yanked me off of him. Surprisingly, it wasn't Raven but Tina!

"What the fuck are you doing you deranged bitch!" yelled Tina. I turned in time to watch Raven disappear in the crowd. Mission accomplished everything went as I planned. That'll teach Raven to steal the only boy I really wanted!
