Shiver [Min Yoongi]

Chapter 10

"...W-What?" Yoongi whispered, staring at you wide-eyed in shock. 

"Minah is your daughter." You hiccuped, not even realizing you had started crying. Yoongi's eyebrows furrowed as he shook his head a bit, not grasping what you said.

"Well, I guess I don't need to be here anymore. You clearly don't need or want me." Jae said, turning around and walking to the door. "No Jae- wait!" You pleaded, not knowing what to do. You tried to grab his arm again, but he shook you off.

Jae just turned around, looking at you with hurt in his eyes, looking between you and Minah in your arms. Your heart stopped for a moment, your voice getting caught in your throat. Nothing else was said, Jae just walked out the door.

You didn't know what to do. As soon as the door slammed behind Jae, Yoongi walked out of the bedroom, redressed and not looking at you. "Where are you going?" You questioned, frantically moving to stand in front of him.

Yoongi kept looking down at the floor. "Why...why didn't you tell me sooner?" He whispered, looking up at you with tears streaming down his face. Your heart completely dropped into your stomach, seeing how hurt he was.

"Yoongi you don't understand, I couldn't!" You exclaimed, Minah starting to cry again. Yoongi looked at her and smiled through his tears, lightly touching Minah's cheek. "Please, let me get her to calm down, then we can talk about this. Please Yoongi..." You whispered, just wanting him to stay.

He continued to look at Minah, then finally at you. He took a deep breath then nodded, stepping out of the way so you could walk to Minah's room.

You felt relieved, a small broken smile going to your lips, getting him to stay.

Before walking down the hall, Minah starting to calm down already, Yoongi stopped you with his hand lightly on your shoulder. You turned around, your heart beating faster, worried that he changed his mind and would leave.

He looked at you for a long time before speaking. Yoongi slightly tightened his grip on your shoulder, reassuringly. He wiped a new tear that had fallen from your eye.

Then he whispered, "I love you."
