''The bullet went straight into Zander's back, so we're prepping him for surgery right now.'' The doctor said looking at each of us.
''But he's going to be okay, right?" Audrey asked.
''Yes, but the chance of paraylsis is a high possibility. I'm sorry.'' He turned around going towards the door. I handed Madison to my mom and stopped him before he got further.
''Uhm, there was another person brought in here with my boyfriend, by the name of Linzi. How is she?"
''I'm sorry, but we couldn't save her.''
''S-she's de-dead?!''
''I'm sorry.'' The doctor walked through the door, leaving me standing there. My mom walked over, Madison in her arms and that's when I dropped to the floor, screaming.
''BRIA?!'' My mom quickly handed Madison to Kane and knelt beside me, while everyone else came running over. She picked me up and looked straight into my eyes. ''BRIA?!''
''L-LINZI'S DEAD! SHE'S DEAD! THIS-THIS IS ALL MY FAULT!'' I screamed, not caring if others looked at me.
''Are you sure?"
''YES MOM! THEY COULDN'T SAVE HER AND IT'S ALL MY FAULT!'' I walked back over to the chairs, taking a seat and held myself. ''I should've just listened to Zander, we should've just eloped!''
''You keep bringing that up. Why were you guys considering that?"
''I'm-I'm pregnant again.''
''You mean? You're having another baby?!"
I nodded my head and looked down at my feet. ''Are you mad?"
''Why would I be mad? Is everything ok though?''
''I'm starting my second trimester.''
''When did you find out?''
''When we came back from Italy. That's why Zander wanted to elope, we could just get married and then have something small at home. But I was stupid and I didn't listen to him and if he ends up paralyzed it'll be my fault.''
''No it wasn't. Zander was only thinking of yours and Madison's safety.''
''Yes it is! I already blame myself for Linzi's death and if Zander comes out paralyzed..then I will never forgive myself for what happened!''
I got up my chair, taking Madison from Kane and walked out of hospital doors, sliding down a nearby wall. I set Madison down in my lap and stared at her, taking in all her features. She looked exactly like Zander.
''I'm so happy you're back in my arms.'' I smiled kissing her forehead.
''Ma-Ma.'' She placed her little hands on my face and smiled back.
''What did you say?" I giggled.
''Mama!" I wrapped her in my arms, tightly and started to cry. She finally said 'Mama' and Zander wasn't here to see or hear it. One word made my heart melt, but it still made me shatter knowing her father couldn't.
