*Zander's POV*
Four days after the argument I had with Bria it was time for me to head back to school. Only this time its a completely different place with people I've never met before. I was sitting in the kitchen eating a bowl of cereal when my dad walked in with my brother Kayden.
"You nervous?" He asked sitting across from me.
I placed my spoon in the bowl and looked up at him. Nervous? I'm beyond that! I'm terrified. "Not really."
"You'll do fine and you'll make a lot more friends. Just remember you got a girl back here, Zander." He chuckled.
"Not exactly."
"What do you mean?"
"We broke up a few days ago."
"What? Why?"
"Just things with the school that's all. Come on, I'm going to be late." I got up putting my bowl in the sink and walked to the door grabbing my bag.
My dad came out a few seconds later and got Kayden strapped into his car seat and got into the car. I got in the passenger's seat and buckled myself up watching as we pulled out of the driveway. Now that I think about it I should've faked more pain this morning. I don't think this is going to work well.
We arrived to the front of the school and surprisingly these kids looked normal to me. They were regular looking teenagers. Yeah, there were a few clique looking ones, but other than that they didn't look snobby at all. The girls looked like simple girls and didn't seem slutty to me.
"I know going to a new school is hard, but just be yourself and people will like you. Well, I have to get home and I'll pick you up around three, okay?"
I nodded my head and unbuckled my belt, grabbing my bag and got out of the car. I walked through the sea of kids and into the main entrance. I spotted the office and opened the door walking up to the front desk.
"Can I help you?" An older woman behind it asked.
"Uhm, yeah, I'm new here. I was told I need to pick up my schedule in the office?" I asked.
"Oh, yes. What's your last name?"
"Williamson."
"Zander?"
"That's me."
"Here you go." She smiled handing me over the schedule and returned back to her desk.
"Thank you." I walked out of the office and looked down at the white piece of paper. Okay, let's see where your first class is. First period History room 415. I really should've stayed home if I wanted to sleep in.
I walked down the hallway scanning the room numbers to see where this class was. I finally reached the room and walked in seeing there were already kids in there. I walked up to the teacher and handed her my schedule.
"Oh, well welcome to your first class of the day, Zander. I'm Ms. Neeley and its nice to meet you.'' She handed back my schedule, smiling at me and shook my hand.
"Hi, nice to meet you too." I smiled.
"Just grab an empty seat and we'll start today's lesson."
I turned around looking around the room for an empty desk and spotted one by the window. I sat down pulling out a notebook and pencil and set my bag under the desk. The tardy bell rang and a few more students piled into the room and it was time to start this lesson.
*Audrey's POV*
I opened my eyes and was rudely awaken by the bright sun coming through my bedroom window. I yawned sitting up and stretched my arms out looking around the room. I got up from the bed and walked downstairs to the kitchen to see Kane feeding Kayden.
"Well! Look who's awake, Kayden. Sleep well?" He asked smiling.
"Zander, had me up a few times with the pain. He's still a little stiff when it comes to sitting back up and moving. Do you think he was ready to go back? I mean especially in a whole new surrounding too." I took a seat across from Kane and rested my chin on my hand.
"He'll be fine, Audrey. I asked him this morning if he was nervous he told me 'Not really.' He'll make new friends and things will change for the better.''
"Just tell him the girls are off limits since he has Bria back here."
"I don't think that'll be necessary."
"Huh?"
"They broke up."
"What?! When?! More importantly why?!"
"He said it was about transferring to the new school and stuff. I guess Bria has some trust issues herself."
"They'll figure something out. I'm sure of it."
