"So what happened that day when you went home?" Bria asked as we waited outside for our parents.
"Well, I did something pretty awful." I confessed.
"What?"
"I made my mom cry. She saw the cuts on my arm and she started crying. I felt so terrible because I know her and my dad love and care for me."
"She was just shocked to see that. I know your Mom will forgive you. Your mom loves you too much, Zander. A little too much!" She chuckled. "So did you have fun? Even though you sat out most of the night?''
"Yeah, it was nice. Better than reading." I smiled putting an arm around her shoulder. "Does this make us official? Like dating?"
"Only if its what you want." She smiled.
"I do."
I saw her dad pull up in their car and rolled down the passenger side window. "Is that Zander?! Didn't expect to see you here. Want a lift?" He asked. I looked over at Bria. She smiled and took my hand in hers. We hopped into the backseat and drove off.
"Dad, I told you I was going to the dance with Zander." She chuckled.
"Didn't hear a peep." He teased. I rolled my eyes and stared out the window as Bria snuggled into my side. I placed my arm around her shoulder as she rested her head on my chest. Complete bliss. I smiled to myself and placed my chin on top of Bria's head. A few minutes later Bria's dad pulled up to my house. I thanked him getting out, until I was stopped by a hand.
"Come on, I'll walk you to the door." Bria said getting out.
"But aren't I supposed to do that?" I smirked as we walked up to my front door.
"Doesn't matter. I still want to say goodnight to my boyfriend and get a goodnight kiss. If that's OK with you.'' I smiled placing my hand on her cheek and was about to lean in when you know who interrupted. Her dad.
"I was sitting there and I thought why don't I come in and say ''Hello'' to my best friends." He smiled at me. I shook my head in agreement and wrapped my hand on the door knob.
"Dad! Its late and his parents probably don't want company. They might be sleeping."
I turned the knob opening the door and could have dropped dead at what I saw.
"Oh. My. God!" Bria's dad laughed.
