Moff ---- paced nervously in the control room of his base, looking out of the huge blast-resistant window. On the feild below, just outside the walls of the complex, a battle. There, what little remained of his men, only three platoons, were struggling to hold off the 800th Legion while two of its Star Destroyers pummeled the base's shields.
"Attention all staff! Hold that lunatic traitor Mektel back at all costs! Do not let him reach the bridge!", Moff ------ screamed over the intercom.
The heavy blast door slid open and the Moff's head Stormtrooper commander limped in, his white and blue armor practically riddled with blaster bolt marks. His E-11 blaster hung loosely at his side.
"Report!", the Moff yelled in a panic.
"It's not good, my Lord. The Mandalore has just breached the walls and soon the defector shields will follow.", the commander said, half out of breath.
All the deck-men in the huge control room looked nervous. Even the worry of the few dozen troopers could be felt from under their helmets.
"Damn! Where the hell are our reinforcements?", the Moff yelled.
"Sir, they're...they're not coming.", his deck lieutenant said sounding defeated.
"WHAT!?", the Moff raged.
"Our radars read that once they were within range of the 800th they just...turned around. We're alone."
The Moff sat on a nearby crate of ammunition, shaking and skin now clammy and dangerously white.
"Have my...s-s-shuttle ready for departure.", he said quietly in a hollow, shaken voice.
"Already done, my Lord.", the commander said.
Suddenly, the blast door flew across the room, crunching against and cracking the large blast-proof window on the other side of the room. A black and red skinned Dathomirian in Nightbrother robes, sporting two elegant vibranium swords and a whip scythe, strolled calmly in. A furious whirlwind, he launched his scythe-whip forward, cleanly dismembering the deck officer's head from his shoulders. He spun around, his scythe following his movements in a long arch as it slit the throats of the troopers in his immediate reach. He quickly fell to one knee as the sounds of heavy boots rushed in.
Ten scarlet clad Stormtroopers carrying T-21s and standard E-11s flooded into the room. Followed by a giant of a Wookiee, clad in black armor.
Troopers carrying T-21s stood in the back and those carrying E-11 took a knee in front of them, careful not to shoot their Dathomirian comrade. The Moff's men closest to the door were immediately riddled by the first wave of blaster fire from the front men while the rear mowed down the men towards the front of the room.
The wookie cleaved five of the moff's troopers that charged him in half with a signal swing of a monstrous eight foot long battle axe.
A blast from a heavy sniper rifle on a lookout tower shattered the already cracked window of the command center, and in flew a Kage mercenary on a jetpack. Dressed in multi-colored Kage battle armor, a dull brown scout hat, and wielding twin WESTAR-34 blaster pisotls and a CA-87 Shock Blaster. She stayed low avoiding the fire from the troopers of the 800th. She shot down eight enemy troopers within seconds with her pistols, then spun around and leveled her CA-87 with an attacking riot trooper, blowing a enormous hole in his chest.
Within mere moments, the Moff's entire force lay dead. The troopers and mercenaries stood half relaxed as they shortly examined their work. Only two of the ten crimson troopers lay wounded. They heard seven consecutive shots from their unseen sniper, making them spin to the window. And, in an almost choreographed union, seven now uncloaked shadowtroopers lay dead at the mouth of the window.
