It all started 8 months ago when my friends Micheal, James, Tabby Yvonne and I were investigating on this new this rumor that was going on over the country. We were not detectives or anything just ordinary people who were bugged.
There was an organization with scientists from all over the world working in an illegal secret Lab to create a virus similar to Oncovirus. Oncovirus is a virus that can cause Cancer.another virus called.
The organization's aim was to infect several countries or states or probably most parts of the world with the cancer virus they created in the lab wherever that is.
Why would anyone want to create a virus. A deadly virus at that. That's why we have to find that out.

Me and my team and by team I don't mean a super cool team but a nerdy group of 21-23 year olds students who possibly think they will change the world.
We had done our researches for weeks. We would all meet up at Mike's place since he has like the biggest computer ever and let him do his magic.
He's was so good with technology and hacking being one of his greatest pride.
We followed the location of the lab and by the use of GPRS it led us to an open area alongside Mombasa Road. There were no buildings or any sign of people around. It was just land.

"There must be an error somewhere," James said trying to stamp on the ground.
"Mike are you sure this is the right location?" I asked.
"Sera! You know me too well, I have never been wrong.... this is the place." Mike replied fixing his round framed glasses.
"Yvonne do you remember the glasses you made 3 years that could x-ray anything?" Tabby asked.
"Yeah," she replied.

"Do you still have them? Like are they still working?" Tabby asked Yvonne.
"We could use them to X-ray this area to find if there are any openings. This people must be working underground," Mike said typing some codes very fast.
"There's only one way to find out guys, let's get those goggles.  But the question is does she still have them?" James asked.
"I have them, never lost any of my inventions before." Yvonne said.

The ride back to Mombasa was long, 3 hours on the road.
"Guys I still think this is a bad idea, we can just tell someone...like the police or something that this rumor was actually true. And let them take over," Yvonne said with a Very frightening tone like she was backing out of all this.

"Like they would actually believe you, instead they will put you in one of those asylum. Everyone knows those kinds of things happen only in movies." I said.
I was the one who talked  all of them into this, if we can stop this while we still can we will save a lot of lives including ours.

Two days later, Yvonne brought her Little invention and we prepared for the journey again. This time we got there a little dark so that the  X-ray can be clear.
Again we had followed the same map and it led us to the same location.

"Now Yvonne, I have connected your glasses to my computer so walk around facing on the ground and we will also see from here." Mike said pressing a button and the video was live on the screen.
As Yvonne was walking we saw something but it wasn't clear enough.

"There's something where you are standing but slightly on the left Yvonne." Mike said.
"Stop!" Shouted Mike.
"Will you stop shouting Mike, I can hear you clearly." Said Yvonne losing her temper.
It was getting dark really fast and it started to scare us, especially me.
James walked to the area where Yvonne was standing which was  500m from the main road and 100m from where we were standing.

"Can you sight anything unusual?" Yvonne asked James.
"No... but wait a minute this area we are standing at is sort of an inch higher. I think there's an opening right here." James replied, looking around like a freak.

James started stamping his feet really hard on the ground and we joined in the tap dance. Suddenly there was a loud noise, the kind that an iron door is being unlocked. We both froze.
Few seconds the ground started to vibrate. We all moved few step backward away.
The ground splits and immediately I took out my cell phone to video tape it, this was going to be a solid prove.
As soon as the opening was... well open,We moved closer and there was a narrow stairwell going down.
"Whoa! What the...."
"Shhh!" I whispered interrupting Tabby from making unnecessary noise, she tends to be loud sometimes.

"Are you taping  all of this?" James asked me.
"Yes, how else do you expect us to prove all this?" I yelled at him. Such a stupid question.
"Hey chill...I was gonna say great idea." He said.
"Yeah I know," i said with a shrug.

"Somebody must get in there," Mike said.
"Definitely not me," Yvonne said shrugging.
"I'll go," I said putting my phone on video recording  mode.
One step at a time, I went down the stairwell, it wasn't actually dark in there, there were tiny little bulbs on the rough walls.
"Guys come look," I whispered loud as soon as I was in, switched on the lights and everything was as clear as a day.
"Is it safe?" Tabby asked.
"Of course it is..am safe can't you see that? come on guys we are close" I said to to them.

They all crept down and soon all of us were in, except Mike.
"I'll just stay out here and look out for you guys." He excused himself.
"Well keep the eyes under your glasses open."
I told him.

We proceeded checking the other premises of the lab. It looked like no one was here for a week now.
"Well...look what we have here," James said showing us to a transparent glass container written toxic.
A green colored thick substance.
"This must be it, the Virus." I said trying to tape it on my phone closely.
"What's next now?" Asked Tabby.
"Again will you be quiet am trying to think." I said feeling annoyed by her sharp voice.

"We can dispose it somewhere," suggested James.
"Or burn it" added Yvonne.
I looked at Tabby to hear her suggestion and she gave me a look. "What?....you said I should be quiet"she said with a shrug.

"If we dispose it it will still contaminate air and we will be the first ones to die and we can't burn it there might be explosives in here." I said.
After many weeks of research we were finally here and we couldn't think of anything to make me these disappear.
"Wait is that AntiVirus?" I asked, walking towards this large transparent test tube half filled with a blue substance, labeled antitoxin.

Time was not on our side, we really needed to act fast.
"James, Tabby and I will grab the containers containing the virus and Yvonne grab the Antitoxin." I commanded.

"Or we should put them back and call the police," I said really confused.
"What are we going to do with them though. Let's just leave them." Suggested Yvonne.
We ended up putting them back and before anything else, one container was down on the flow, toxin escaping on the ground and into the air.
"What have you done James, you dropped it," I yelled at him scratching my head like a mad man.
"We are all gonna die in here and my family will not find me!" Cried Yvonne, walking around tensed.
"Stop Saying that and calm down, if anything were to happen it would have happened already and we have the antivirus." I said trying to calm everyone down.
"I don't feel too well." James said touching his head.
"Me too," Tabby sad doing the same.
Suddenly the fell unconscious and Yvonne did too. I stood there shocked were they dead? Was I heading there too?
"Guys wake up, please don't die." I cried. I couldn't call Mike in because he might inhale the contaminated air and die like us.
Why wasn't I dead like the others, we were both in here and am still standing and walking around.

I quickly took them antivirus and gave them the shots. It was a risk in had to take.
I dragged them one at a time to the stairwell and asked Mike to help me get them out.
"What happened?" he asked terrified, checking for their pulse.
"At least they are alive... what happened in there?" He asked again.
"Let's just get out of here, I will tell you about when we are safe." I said breathing so fast.

Mike and I struggled to get them in the car which was about 100m from the sight.

"Mike can you drive fast.. I don't don't feel to well." I said dragging myself in the front seat.

As I asked him too, he drove us back home as we slept the whole journey.
Was I dying, the chances were 100% since at the only one who never took the antivirus.
