"I am sorry, Mackenzie." Levi apologizes.

"About what?" I turn to glance at this green-eyed brunette male standing in front of me as I closed my locker.

"For causing you trouble." He kept on.

His face looks as if a puppy died," What do you mean? I wasn't in any trouble."

"Well...um....Amaya has been telling me that people have been troubling you in art class and it was because of you hanging out with me. I've noticed it as well. I feel bad for not saying anything." He replies.

Literally a week ago, Levi ignored me to just stare at me from a far distance. I am not sure why he is so interested in me, but, whatever it is, I don't mind unless he doesn't screw over my life. It is just getting started.

People have been messing with me because I am hanging with Levi more than any other girl would who has a crush on him but, I don't care what they think anyways so, it doesn't bother me. He has no need to apologize.

"Whatever. I don't care what people think about me. I can clearly see that I did nothing to them. Their purpose for messing with me is delusional." I say. I head down the hallway so I can get to math class.

Levi does a small jog to catch up with me as I was walking pretty fast. His face lights up, as if his expression was impressed," That is the first I hear that from a girl. You're so cool, Mackenzie."

"Don't you have a class to get too?" I ask, looking straight ahead.

Levi places a hand on his chest as if he was stabbed in the heart," Why so blunt? That really hurts. Right here." He points to his heart.

I look back down the hall. People were still lingering and/or talking to someone.

Maybe I should make more of an effort to be friendly to Levi. He has done nothing but, be kind to me.

"Sorry. It is just I normally don't have anyone to talk to. My human interaction skills still needs help." I reply. We were almost to my destination. It seems that Levi is walking with me to class. I heard about couples doing that.

I snuck a glance at him. He was surely taller than me. Either way, I am only 5'0 ft and he could probably be near 5'10 ft or 5'11 ft. His hair styled and his fair skin made him look attractive. This is the first time I actually looked at Levi since I have met him.

He had made a thinking face. His lips were pursed out and he stared into nothing. It was a little silly and kind of cute.

A pang came from my chest and my heart rate rises just looking at him. I am having my weird feeling I had before when I hugged him. What is Levi doing to me? What is this effect he has on me? It is like a magic spell.

Do most girls feel like this around him?

"Eureka!" He shouts out of the silence we had between us," Can I take you out today? If it is not too busy with your schedule."

"Like a date?" I say pretty quickly.

Levi's eyes grow big from my assumption," No, no no. Well...... not really. I guess it could be a date if you want." His cheeks grow red close to resembling a tomato.

A smile tugged at my lips a little. I stop walking and face Levi," Ok. I can tell my godmother that I will be home late."

Levi raises his eyebrows," Godmother? Wait, what about......"

Then the school bells ring, signaling that people should start heading to class. Good thing I was already in front of my math class.

"See ya." I wave and walk into class. Leaving a questionable faced Levi behind me.
