Skinny Dipping and Discussions

It had been two days since the party and Cassandra felt more weak than ever. She felt closer to death, but she wasn't going to stop living these last weeks half assed. She was more determined then ever to finish that list. She sat in her hospital bed, it was after midnight and Alex said he was coming to break her out to go somewhere. She couldn't figure out what it was and it was making the girl anxious. Her parents have tried to call her multiple times in the two days since the party and she ignored every single one of the call. 

When Alex came into the room and swept her off her feet and kissed her she couldn't help but smile. She had fallen completely, head over heels in love with Alex Karev and there was nothing that could stop it. She had tried not to get attached to the man, but it was impossible. He was so kind to her and the way he kissed her made her feel spectacular. 

"You ready?

"Yes!" she said happily. She hadn't been using the oxygen tank since before the party because she didn't understand how, but her breathing got better even though she was still sick. She didn't miss the bag under her eyes or the hollowness in her face when she looked over herself in the mirror just thirty minutes prior when she was brushing her teeth. She barely ate anymore, not feeling hungry ever. She got into Alex's car and looked out of the windshield as he drove, she was growing more and more curious as time went on. It was thirty minutes before he pulled into someplace and saw it was an indoor community pool.

"I snagged the keys. Someone owed me." he said as she looked over at him. When they got inside, she was beginning to regret putting skinny dipping on her list, but she had always wanted to do it, "the place is completely empty. I can even leave if you want me too. If that'd make you more comfortable." Alex said. 

"No! Don't go." Cassandra said, she took off the sweater she was wearing and started losing her clothes. She looked over at Alex when she was fully naked, "you're still wearing clothes.. what is with that?" she gave him a smile before jumping into the pool. The water was warm and Cassandra looked to see Alex standing naked now and she was impressed by what she saw. Sure she hadn't ever seen a man before and Alex was nice to look at.

"You're staring."

"You're just really attractive." Cassandra said smiling up at him. He jumped into the water and swam closer to the brunette, "another thing checked off the list." she was once again smiling and let out a little noise when Alex pulled her closer to him by her waist. He kissed her and pulled away looking into her brown eyes. Cassandra could tell something was on his mind, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to ask or not, "what?" she questioned, her curiosity getting the best of her.

"I've been thinking about the rest of your items on your list. We've just completed number five. Leaving; seven, eight, nine, and ten."

"We checked eight off already."

"You've fallen in love?"

"I thought that was pretty obvious. I remember telling you that I was falling in love with you."

"I thought you were just saying that because you were drunk."

"No. Alex, I have fallen in love with you. If I wasn't sick, I'd want to date you for the rest of my life. Get married, have kids with you. All of it." Alex caught Cassandra off guard by kissing her.

"Then we have seven, nine, and ten. Then we are done with your list. I was to talk about nine. I like you, Cass. A lot actually-"

"You promised."

"I haven't fallen in love with you. But I like you. And when two people like each other they normally have sex. So what I'm asking is-"

"Yes." Cassandra said looking at Alex with wide eyes, "I want to have sex with you. I'd love to have sex with you. But I have to tell you, being a virgin I have very high expectations especially because I've been told you used to be a man whore." she smiled.

"You've been told I'm a man whore and you still want to sleep with me?"

"Call me dumb."

"You are dumb. There is no way around that."
