An opportunity gained

Chapter 26

I entered my room and everyone followed. 

"What? Are we holding a mothers meeting in here?" I looked at them. "And why's she here?" I said pointed to Eva. 

"Sam don't be so rude, you're allowed to hang out with your friends. Why can't I?" 

"Because my friends don't use me" I said glaring at her, she knew what I was on about. I could drop her in it right now, or just let Zach find out himself. 

"Plus she's staying in here tonight" I looked at him. 

"Hahaa! No she's not" I was standing my ground. 

"Yes she is! It’s all be arranged" 

"You've known this girl 5 minutes and you already inviting her round saying she can stay?" 

"Well you two hung out the other night in this room, and if I stand correctly you don't really know each other" I stood eye to eye with her. Well I say eye to eye but it was really chest to top of head, it sucks being small...

"Will you tw-" 

"Well at least I'm not enga-" But before I could finish my sentence she slapped me. I just laughed and slapped her back. I've never been in a fight before, now maybe I'll finally be classed as one of the cool kids!... 

"OH MY GOD WOULD YOU TWO STOP IT!" Zach shouted. Then Eva stormed out. "Now look at what you've done!" 

"What I've done?! Hold on I'm not the one that said she could be here right now. I'M NOT THE ONE LYING TO YOU! SHE IS! But you can't see that because you let people walk all over you Zach! I opened up to you, I told you things I've never had the guts to tell before. And this is how you repay me?" I had tears running down my face. 

"Yeah what you've done! Okay maybe you didn't invite her back but I did because she's my friend. And lying to me? NO SHE'S FUCKING NOT! Let people walk all over me? YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO I AM! Yeah you did open up to me, but I think you're forgetting I also opened up to you and told you things I would NEVER dream about telling anyone else. How I repay you? Whatever Sam" And with that he was gone. Out of my room, and hopefully out of my life.
