An opportunity gained

Chapter 43

Me and Zach had been here for 2 hours, finally though it was getting closer.

"Zachary Brooks please"

We just looked at each other.

"Good luck! I know you've done enough. But what ever happens, I'm here for you" with that I gave him a kiss.

He left the room with 5 other people. I wasn't going to see him until it was my turn to go out.

It had been an hour and a half and finally my name got called out.

I made my way to the ring with 5 other people, 3 girls and one boy. Out of one of us someone was going to have their dream realised, for the rest their dream would be shattered.

There were two different sides of the room. One side there was a sign that read 'NOT CUT' the other a sign that said 'CUT'. I look on the side that read 'NOT CUT' but couldn't see Zach. I then scanned at the other side of the room to find that he was there. He was sat on the floor with his head in his hands.

I couldn't quite believe that Zach hadn't done enough.

I had a cold sweat and butterflies running around in my stomach. What happens if I haven't done enough? Mark would of wasted his time on us both. I didn't want to let him down.

When I snapped back to reality I found that me and the other guy were the only two left in the ring.

One of the trainers looked him dead in the eye, but then moved over to me. Oh god I knew it, I hadn't done it. My dream was about to be shattered. But then she stuck her hand out.

"Congratulations, you're in"
