Chapter 40

I was sat back in the locker room trying to figure out what had just happened.

"You alright?" Zach said hugging me.

"Yeah, I just don't understand what's just happened"

"Maybe she got told to do that..." He didn't seem so convinced with himself though.

Just then that last person I wanted to see walked into the room.

"I'll leave you two to talk"

"Look I know you probably hate me right now, but I can explain!"

"What would I hate you for? The fact that you've been acting weird with me for the past few days? The fact the were training someone that tried to get with my boyfriend? The fact that you left me high and dry when we were in that match then?"

"No, it's ju-"

"I don't want to hear it Nikki. How about we just stay out of each other's way and get on with our lives, yeah?" With that I walked away, but not before turning round to see who I thought was my best friend. I guess I was wrong and she was just using me to hurt me.
