An opportunity gained

Chapter 27

I said before nothing can ruin my happiness, Zach and Eva just did. 

There's always one other thing that helped me get through things apart from WWE. I grabbed my laptop and loaded up Skype. Yes he was still online! I hit the "video call" button and waited for a response. 

"Hello?" Shit, forgot about the time difference. "Listen if this is another fucking prank caller I'm goi-" 

"No its Sam!" 

"Sam?!" I heard shuffling and the light flickered on. "SAM!" 

"Hey big bro!" I said with a smile. 

"What happened to skyping me EVERYDAY at the SAME TIME?!" Shit, must have forgotten about that as well. "Must be enjoying your new life to much to think about me" 

"I wouldn't say I'm enjoying it as much as I thought I would" 

"What's up sis?" If there was one person I knew I could completely be honest with, that one person would be my brother. He never judges me and I can tell him anything. So I told him it all, right from liking Zach all the way till now. He didn't once laugh, make a joke or even hang up on me. Because he though he looks like this big, angry guy. Deep down inside he's the nicest guy you can talk to and just hang out with. 

"What would I normally do now?" He asked me. 

"Give me a hug" 

"Well I'm not here to do that anymore. Sam you know I love you but you can't let people like that bring you down. You've been through so much in your life to have stupid people rip it away from you. This is your dream, and honestly this is the real world. No school. This is work. You're going to have people like that all through it so you better get used to it. So believe me when I tell you this, you're a strong woman and I know you'll pull through" This is one of the reasons I love my brother, he's always right. He's right, he's not here anymore. He's right, I can't let people like Eva or Zach bring me down. He's right, I have been through a lot to let stupid people like Eva and Zach take it all away. He's right, this is my dream. He's always right. 

"Thanks bro" 

"No problem, now I'm shattered and as much as I love talking to you I have work in 3 hours. Night Sam! Love you" And with that the call ended. 

I went to sleep with his speech ringing in my head.
