Chapter 34

"Five more push ups" 

"But I've already done 50!" I moaned. 

"DO YOU WANT TO BE A WWE DIVA OR NOT?!" He screamed.

"Of course I do!" 

"THEN GIVE ME FIVE MORE!" I never realised how hard these women trained just to be here. 

"Cut her some slack Phil" 

"Alright...you've got a 10 minute break, then you're coming back to run the ropes" 

"You okay?" The person helped me up. 

"Yeah thanks" I looked up and AJ was there. "How do you do this?" 

"What do you mean?" 

"Well no offense, but you're not exactly the biggest or the strongest girl in the locker room" 

"Oh I know" She said giggling. "But that's what makes me so special" I gave her a funny look. "You see I worked my butt off for 14 years, people would always tell me I'm never going to make it and that I'll never get here. But I would never listen. Then I got the opportunity to, I tried out for NXT. That's when I met other woman that shared the same passion as me. I didn't win NXT though, but that still wasn't going to stop me from achieving what I wanted to achieve. I did sit at home for a bit though, although I will tell you this. Some thoughts did creep into my head and I did think to myself that maybe just maybe all of those people were right, maybe I shouldn't be wrestling. But then I got the call, a lot of the divas that were there in 2011 were leaving, they wanted to bring me up. I made a good impression, a lot of people say I slept my way up to the top. I don't see how! I got put into that storyline with Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Kane, John Cena and Dolph Ziggler. I was just being my character. I then got told I was going to become the Diva's Champion, and when I won that title I told all of the haters and the people that said I could never do it thanks! Want to know why?" 

"Why?" 

"Because if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have driven myself to be here. I wouldn't be stood here talking to you. And now every time a young girl comes up to me and asks for my advice, I say listen to the haters and the people that are saying no to you, because believe me it will drive you to do this more" And then she left me, she was right though.
