Two days have past

After what happened two days ago max hasn't visited me. I feel bad for her. I can't believe eleven did that. But I'm going to have to tell max were not dating. She will find out anyways. And of course me and eleven can't pretend to date. That would be awkward for her. Not me of course. At least I'm getting out of the hospital tomorrow. I look over at the door. I hear a click. I see eleven walk in with a stuffed bear and a card. She looks sleep deprived. She groggily walks over. " h-hey eleven. You look really tired". She nods and places the things on the dresser beside the hospital bed. " yeah.. it's nothing just I didn't get any sleep last night" she says reassuring me. She walks over to the window and pulls the curtains over them. El seemed really parinoid. " eleven are you sure your ok" I say worriedly. She rushes back over to the beside and hovers over me. " yes I'm fine". Then She yawns and rubs her eyes.

" eleven you are not ok" I say.

" mike I'm fine!" She says almost screaming it.

" eleven. You look sleep deprived. You also look paranoid. I know something's got to Be wrong ". I say as if she's a child.

" mike I'm fine ok. That's finale ". She replies.

" eleven tell me what's wrong. Please " I say quietly in a broken voice. She doesn't respond she simply walks over to the chair and sits in it. She looks down and crosses her legs.

" mike... you wouldn't understand " she says.

" eleven I promise I will". The word ' promise ' means a lot to me. Hopefully to her As well.

" promise?" She says quietly.

" promise " I replie.

" mike... I was almost raped by a guy my grandfather worked with. I think." She says quietly almost as a mumble.

" h- how do you know it was someone who-"

She cuts me off and says " I knew you wouldnt believe me".

I feel really bad now. I do believe her but how does she know.  But it's better off if I don't ask.

" never mind " I say.

" I think those guys are following me" she says getting choked up on the word ' following'.

I'm shocked. ( I was gonna put shook but naw) I can't believe they want her back. I have to tell dustin and them. But I'm not telling will. He will just use this as a advantage on el. " DoeS will know about this?" I question.

" yes he does. I told him" she says. Wow just great

" oh ok. Um you need to get some sleep". I say

" I can't. Every noise I hear scares me" she says.

I don't know what to do. We can't call the cops. There would never be a trial. Rape victims rarely get classified as a case. Let alone almost rape victims. They will just think she's tramitized.

" Does will believe you?" I say.

She shakes her head " no he told me I was imagining things".

I see a tear roll down her cheek. " I-I tried sleeping in his bed with him but it doesn't help. "
I motion for her to walk over to me. She does and she starts crying. I hold out my arms and she climbs in the hospital bed beside me. I wrap one of my arms around her and say " eleven I'm sorry this had to happen "

" I kne-knew he would believe. When no one would.  But I was wrong " she said softly. I felt bad for her. She was broken almost. She hasn't got any sleep, will doesn't believe her, and she almost got raped. Now that's pretty scary. But if we're talking about me being broken. That's a understatement. I'm a ruin. ( ok ok me quoting Marina and the diamonds srry). I caressed her light brown hair.  Soon she was asleep.
