Detention chapter 70

Mikes pov

I walk into the detention room. Or whatever you call it. I see el with her head down on her desk. I feel bad that I got her in trouble. I sit down in the desk beside hers and I lean over enough to tap her. " what mike " she says with a muffled voice.  " hey. Sorry I got you in trouble. " I say. " yeah ok " she says. " did you read the note I passed you " I asked nervously. " I couldn't because the teacher got it before I read it all " she says. I sigh in relief. " yeah it was really nothing " I say lying through my teeth. She looks up and says " it's always nothing with you tell me what DID that note say ". Shit. " it was NOTHING so I need to spell it out " I say Aggravated. " yeah mike your not helping your case. If you want my attention don't be such a-" the Teacher cuts her off. " SILENCE. " he says. " no talking in detention " the teacher says sitting down at his desk. " sorry mr.Clark " eleven says.

The rest of the detention time it was silent. El was doing her homework and I just sat in the desk looking out the window. Soon enough the bell rung and the teach dismisses us.

I walk outside and I say " el I'm sorry ". " it's Fine I shouldn't have gone that far. It was just a note " she replied. " but what really did it say ". I start blushing and she looks at me waiting for a reply. I knew I had to tell her. I reach in my pocket and grab the note. " find out for yourself " I say running off. I slipped the note from the teachers desk after class earlier.
