I look in the back as a happy holly holding her teddy bear sits. She has blonde hair to her shoulders hazel eyes and a striped shirt on. Probably the cutest kid you could imagine. I look to the front and I watch as the trees go by. The car was quiet. I sigh and Nancy looks over at me " are you ok " she asked. I nod. But I wasn't. I felt bad for pushing will down today. I don't know why though. He did deserve it after tackling me.

I'm confused about everything. Should I date will or mike. Why was I put here. To be hurt by mike so many times. Was mike hurting me on purpose. Was he doing it for fun. I have to have faith in him. I just want to let go of everything for a few hours. I want everything to be alright. ". Hey will I'm going to take a nap " I say as a stand up. He nods changing the tv channel.

I attack the bathroom cabinets to find something. I spot sleeping pills and I grab them. I glance in the mirror and my eyes stay frozen on my image. Was this really was I have become. Is this how I will live. Does mike even care about me. I break my train of thought by popping the pill bottle open and sliding 3 pills out. I down then quickly and walk to the bed room hazy. I lay on the bed forgetting everything. It was all going away. Soon everything was pitch dark.

Mikes pov

We arrive at Nancy's house and I ask " isn't Steve here ". She shakes her head NO and gets out of the car. I get out as well and slam the door. I start walking to the door but holly Beats me. She giggles and taunts " I WIN ". A small smile appeared on my face for a split second. I shake my head and holly runs in the house while Nancy follows behind. I trudge behind into the house closing the door behind me. I look at holly eating a sandwich on the couch and Nancy fixing some food. " mike. Can you stay here tonight " Nancy ask with desperation in her voice. " yes " I say while walking over to holly. I sit beside her and she smiles.
