I walk into my house to see el watching TV. " hey ". She turns her head to look at me and asked " How was school ". I shrug not knowing what to say. " fine I guess ". She furrows her eyebrows and shakes her head. " your not fine " she says. I admired everything about this girl. I walk over to her and sit down. She moves over to me and lays her head on my shoulder.

Mikes pov
I pull out of my pocket a cigarette packet and a lighter. I grab one and light it. Nancy looks over and then back at the road. " those things can kill you. I hope you know that " she says. I roll my eyes and inhale the nicotine. I slowly exhale and Nancy slams her finger on the button to open the window. " mike. Seriously stop " she says. I take the cigar out of my mouth and I say " who's stopping me ". She sighs and grabs it from my two fingers. She tosses it out the window and says " me ". " where are we going " I say changing the subject. " Moms " she replys. No. anywhere but there. " why!" I yell. She pulls into moms drive way and says " holly ". ( I'm pretty sure holly is 8 now ). - We arrive at the door and Nancy knocks. I sigh and I hear a yell of delight from inside the house. The door opens and I see my mom. A reck. A huge reck. Holly slips past her grabbing my legs. " MIKEEE" she yells with a smile. " h-hey " I say in shock. She takes one look at Nancy and lets go of me and runs to Nancy. Nancy takes her up in her arms and my mom slams the door. " wow " I say.
