Its my fault... chapter 5

Mikes pov

( I'm still editing this so sorry if it has bad spelling )
I follow the doctor  to the door. The doctor opens els room door and me and will walk in the door. Will rushes over to her. I stand there just watching el. She might not wake up. That's the hard part. I grab my jacket and I put it on. I see the doctor walk out and I sit down. I watch will has he holds her hand and says things quietly to her. I sit there and act like I don't care at all. I was upset... and I push away those who try helping me. I pushed away dustin, Lucas, and will. That's why we aren't  together anymore. But I can't push el away. I walk out of the room with my hands in my pockets. I walk through the hall way. I walk out of the building. As I walk out i see dustin and Lucas come running towards me. Dustin says " we heard el is in a coma" I nod and I walk  off. Lucas yells " mike YOU CANT JUST HIDE YOUR FEELINGS OK.... THE GIRL YOU LOVE IS IN THERE IN A COMA.. AND YOUR WALKING OUT ". It hurt... he was right. I turned around and  I yell " SO WHAT. GOD DAMNIT LUCAS. IVE ALREADY CAUSED ENOUGH DAMAGE". Then.. that's it i walk off. Then I get shoved down by dustin.  " your a real asshole" he says then walks off. I get up and walk to my car. Every thing Lucas said was true and it stuck with me.

Wills pov

I'm in the waiting room. With a pissed off Lucas and Dustin. I see mike coming running in the door. He has a bloody nose. " I'm here... ya happy" he rudely says. He comes over to the chair beside me and plops down.  No one says anything. We just sit in silence. I speak up and I say " how did you get a bloody nose". He mumbles " why would you care" I get irritated at his remark and I say " I'm your friend ". He looks at me like I'm crazy and he says " friends?? FRIENDS... you made out with el. You hurt me ok. ". I fire back with " OH I HURT YOU.... YOU PUT EL IN A COMA". Right after I said it I felt bad. I knew it wasn't his fault. Well it was partly. He went silent and got out of the chair and walked out. Dustin shakes his head and says " I'm not on his side but that wasn't cool dude "

Mikes pov

My eyes become red and puffy as I hold back tears. I sit on the side walk and I look around. No one. No Lucas. No dustin. No will. No.... el. I ruined every thing. I did feel bad about taking off out here though. I noticed I was by a bus stop. The bus came a few minutes later and I stepped on. I payed the man and I walked to the back. I  sat on the bus as the sun started to go down as I silently cry. I can't go back to the hospital. Mabye if I just go home and el wakes up dustin will call me. If el even wakes up. I look out the window. I haven't had any sleep for the last day and I was tired. I tried not to fall asleep. But when dustin shoved me to the ground. I fell hard. I even got a bloody nose. But when that happened I felt like I was pushed back to reality. But nothing changed. I soon fall asleep on the bus.

Wills pov

It's been 3 hours and mikes not back. I must have hurt him a lot. I start pacing. What if el never wakes up. Then what I just live with a broken mike and no el. I'm worried about them both. I need to find mike.

We searched everywhere, his house, his favorite bar, his favorite restaurant. We give up and we just go back to the hospital. It's almost 10 pm. Nothing. I see dustin sleeping in the chair. I'm pacing and worried. And Lucas is annoyed. " can you stop pacing!" He says. I stop and I sit down. I see mike walk in. He has dried up blood on his nose. And his eyes are red and puffy. But he looks better.

Mikes pov

I walk in and I see will and Lucas staring at me. I see dustin asleep. I Walk over and I sit a couple seats away from will. I look around the white room.

By now it's 1 am. Will is a nervous reck. Dustin is still sleeping. And Lucas is falling asleep on the floor. The doctor comes around the corner and says " I need to see mike wheeler and will Byers and anyone else of concernment of her . ". My hearts pounding what if she's dead. I walk over to the doctor and so does will. I see Lucas shake dustin trying to wake him up. My heat pounds as he says " this is very rare for a patient to do this but...." is she dead is she alive The words repeat in my head.
