chapter 11

Max pov

      I woke in a cold sweat. I looked at my surroundings and found that I was in a bed.

     I sighed and put my head in my hands, trying to absorb the information given to me last night.

      "Max?"

    I looked up to see Anita, Ella, and Mrs. Martinez in yhe door was woth a plate of pancakes witg a glass of Orange juice.

     They slowly walked up to me amd gave me the plate. Thay watch me eat with so much interest like I was the most interesting thing on the planet. At least that was the case with Ella and Mrs. Martinez. Anita watch me like a hawk. She knew better that to leave me alone in times like this.

      Once I was done Ella toke my plate and went down stairs.

      "Max, what happened last night?" Asked Mrs. Martinez.

      I looked at her. "It was a shock thats all." I said but I new she did not believe me. Anita eather.

      Mrs. Martinez put a hand on my forehead. "Let me get a rag." She mumbled to herself before leaving the room to go get one.

    "Max did it really shock you that much that you had to isolate yourself?" Said Anita, climing onto the bed and placing her head in my lap.

  "No its just...."I put my head in the hands. "She just remands me of her."

      "I know it is hard Max but please dont to that agen, ok?" She looked up at me with her puppy dog eyes.

     "I wont ok?" I said as I petted her head. Just then a small ding sounded downstairs.

     "Max that is your phone." She says as she hops of the bed and walk downstairs. When I got downstairs The whole flock was crowned around my phone.

     "Hay, what are you all doing to my phone." I said making all of them jump amd try to hide it.

      I pushed past them, then pulled into a corner. I unlocked my phone to see a text from Daniel.

     ?R u doing anything?

     Just more info on the case. ?R thing ok?

    Good...... thay miss u

    I realized that I was smiling like an idiot as I was texting Daniel. But I was unable I wipe it off my face.

    "Well somewon looks happy." Says Ella, looking at me with a small smile on her face.

    "I guss so."

     "So who was it?"

    "Daniel." At the mention of his name Fang glared at my phone with as much hatered as he could muster. 

      Ella on the other hand was excited. "What did you talk about?"

    "Nothing. He just said that he missed me, and asked me how was things."
