Max pov

"Call me once you get to where all of you are going ok?" Ella said as she helped me put my last bag in the truck of my van.

"Dont worry I will." I turned and addressed to flock. "We are leaving in one minute. Get your buts in the car!" I yelled as I got in the driver seat.

"Max we dont have the seating arrangements." Said Ashley.

"Will I am driving with Anita in the front seat, the couples can sit in the middle seats and three of you can sit i he back and one on the floor. There is your seating arrangements now get in." I smiled as I seen the mad looks on their faces.

"Why is the dog gets the front seat?"

"If you think that I will sit back there with the lot of you then you must be crazy." Said Anita as she hoped in the front seat. I opened the laptop and seen that our first target was in California.

"The first stop is California."

"Relly!?" Squealed Nuge. "Good thing that I bought my bathing suit."

"We are not going to hve fun we are going on business. We will not have the time. You can come back when this is over."

She mumbled something befor saying "Well can you cut on the radio on?"

I press the volume in the radio and a song came on. I was going to change it but thay toled me not to. So instead I put my headphones in my ears and laughed as I watch Anita put her paws over her ears to block out there bad singing.

A few hours in we had to stop for a bathroom break, well for me and Anita at least. Maya and Fang went behind the building and did the opposite. A few minutes later thay cam back, Maya with a mad look on her face. After that we road untill dark.

"Hay stop hear." Said Ashly, pointing to a Hilton hotel.

"Why?"

"We need a place to sleep." There was a few mumbles of agreement and I had no choice but to pull into the hotel parking lot.

I got out and grabed one outfit and nightcloths and walked inside along with the flock and Anita.

"Hi can I get a room? Three beds please?" I said to the lady at the besk. She had red hair amd green eyes. She looked up to say something but the words die on her lips as she saw me.

"Oh my..." She said with a thick southern accent.

After a few minutes she said "A room. Yes right away. With three beds, third floor, second on the right." She gave me the keys and continued to stair as we climed in the elevator. Once we made it to the room I went straight to the bathroom with Anita on my tail.

I ran some hot water and opened my computer and looked to see if the other kidnapers left the state. I hacked into the airport system and found that ever one of them had to go out of state for some reason. After writing down the places thay went I steped the water and me and Anita slowly sat in it.

"Do you think it was a good idea to let them come?" She asked.

"No, I dont. But thay can help if we run into a fight and we are out numbered."

"You know that we will be able to handle that."

I put my head under the water and so did Anita. After a few minutes I came back up.

"So anything new about the search?" Asked Anita, putting her head on my chest.

"From what I know, all of them went out of state."

"What states?"

"I will tell you tomorrow, for now lets get out. I am tired and I need to thing about the next move. And with that I got out of the water, got dressed blue undergarments and one of Daniel shirt and some shorts anc walked out past a angry Nuge.

"Finally" she mumble before slaming the door.

I walked to the bed on the end and placed my things at the foot of the bed. I picked up my phone and seen that I had some misscalls from mama and Daniel.
Going to the balcony I dieled mama phone nber and waited for her to answer.

"Max thank god I thought you was dead!" Yelled mama.

"Hello. And I am not dead, just a bissy couple of days."

"And you ws to bissy to call me?"

I sighed. "Sorry mama from now on I will call every two days."

"Thats better. Now how have you been? Anythhng new oncthe kidnappings?"

"Yes yesterday I talked woth some members of the kidnaped kids family and found out that all of them have traveled out of state. And my guss is that there are scientist living in those states. So me, Anita and the flock are checking it out."

"And what are you going ot do once you find them?"

"I think I will have to kill them but if there is a alternative solution I will use that."

"Will tell me if you have to do anything rash ok?"

"I will. How are things? Thay are behaving?"

"Yes thay are. But the teens miss you dearly. And Daniel is having a hard time controling them."

"Tell him dont worry, I will be home as fast as I can."

"Well today is Lilians birthday."

"Really tell her I said happy 15th birthday." There was squealing in the back ground befor a voice said "Thank you thank you thank you mama Max." I was shocked that she called me that.

There was more shuffling befor mamas voice came back. "Sorry about that. She was excited I guss."

"Mama, why did she call me mama Max?"

"Well when I asked about that thay said that thay have always looked at you like you are there mother. Some of the babies even called you big sisster."

"Wow" I said. There was silence begor I asked. "Hay mama?"

"Yes love?"

"Tell me if anywon gose missing?"

"Of course.....but why?"

"Well I think this has something to do with wicked."

"R-really?! Why would you think that?"

"I dont know but I just have a feeling that thay are involved in this somehow."

"Ok....ok will let you know. And Max?"

"Yes?"

"If wicked IS involved in this call me and O will get the others ok. I dont want you to barge in there with nothing bit your past as a back up."

"Ok I will" and with that I hung hup and went back in the room.

"Max, max." Anita came running to me, a worried look on her face.

"Whats wrong."

"I saw a scientist. A wicked scientists."

"What?" I stood you and closed the doors to the balcony. "Where did you see it at?"

"Well the flock ordered room service and a lady came. The moment she saw me it was like she went into shock. I did not recognise her untill she said my name."

"Well who was it?"

"It was her."

"Who is her?"

"Dr. Page"
