"Quick," he whispered grabbing onto my hand and pulling me around a corner.

I giggled and watched the nurses and doctors walk by obliviously.

"Let's go, the coast is clear," he pushed open the door and we tiptoed through the empty hallway.

"I feel like a spy," I said, my voice echoing through the long hallway.

"Keep quiet," He whispered.

"There's not even anyone he-"

He put his hand over my mouth instantly once he heard footsteps coming from the other end of the hallway.

"Fuck," he whispered, his eyes darting around the room to find a place to hide.

His eyes landed on a men's restroom, and he pulled me in with him.

"Ethan this is the me-"

"I don't care."

He shut the door and locked it behind him.

"As much as I love your voice, I'd rather you not talk," Ethan shushed me, "Not now at least."

"Isn't that the same thing you said to me when we first met?" I asked, remembering the exact words he said.

"Aw s'cute, you remember!" he tilted his head, mocking something a girl would do.

"But now isn't the time, shut up," he changed his mood completely.

I giggled once again and he covered my mouth.

Suddenly, we heard a knock on the door.

"Is anyone in here?" a female voice sang.

"Uh, no," I said stupidly.

Ethan pinched the bridge of the nose, "You just blew our cover," he mouthed.

"Clearly there is," the lady replied.

"Go," Ethan whispered and pointed behind the door.

I shuffled over, and leaned against the wall, sucking in air to make myself as flat as possible.

Ethan opened the door, revealing the lady who was asking about us.

"Ethan?" she gasped, "Oh my god, sweetie what are you doing in here?"

"Ma, I-"

"And why did I hear a girl's voice...?"

I peeked my head onto the other side of the door.

"Hey Mrs. Dolan," I said sheepishly.

"Lauren!" she exclaimed, "Why are you guys in here?"

Ethan and I exchanged looks and stayed silent.

"Oh dear," Lisa backed away, "You guys weren't having-"

"No ma, we weren't. Don't even say it," Ethan cut her off, "Although it would be nice..."

"Ethan!" Lisa and I exclaimed in unison.

"Then what are you really doing?" Lisa crossed her arms.

"Actually nothing really, we're just doing nothing," Ethan shrugged.

"Really, nothing?" Lisa gave him a look.

Ethan nodded, "Uh yeah."

"Oh," Lisa said, "Then why didn't you say so?"

"Uh, you're actually dreaming right now," Ethan scratched the back of his head.
