Riker POV
"I'm really hoping that isn't what I think it is." Mom said pointing to my dirty shirt. Really ? I'm wearing a black shirt and thanks to my wonderful brothers I have white down it.
"Go ask Rocky and Ryland what it is." I said hearing a door slam, guess Liam's arrived. Liam is just a dick and with what he did I'm not going to like but I was made to keep it a secret and I know it's mean keeping a secret from Lea because we're best friends but if she can keep a kid a secret I can keep this a secret.
"I'm not leavin-"
"Mom it's milk, they're trying to make alcoholic milkshakes and they forgot to put the lid on and asked me to make it stop, I'm not that kind of guy, it doesn't appeal to me." I said making Mom smile as she lightly tapped my cheek walking past me.
I laughed shaking my head and walked into my room grabbing a clean shirt from my closet I threw the dirty one on my bed.
"What the...um...hi ?" I said looking down at Greg who looked like he could burst into tears at any moment.
Maybe I'm over thinking this but I find this insanely creepy; on Glee my characters name was Jeff. In Colossal Youth my characters name is Greg. Lea's sons name is Greg Jeffry Anderson, I didn't do Glee until after Lea left.
I light grabbed his wrists and pulled his arms off of my waist and crouched down in front of him "please don't cry, your Dad would kill me, well try too." I said making him laugh a little.
"You promised !" Lea shouted making Greg hug and hide into my body making me understand while he came up here in the first place.
"It's alright, Mommy and Daddy are just talking." I said closing my bedroom door, the whole time he held my hand until I sat down on my bed, then he came and sat on my lap.
"No they're not. They're fighting, they don't talk." Greg said surprising me, I thought Lea said he doesn't talk.
"They fight a lot ?" I asked.
Greg nodded "Daddy said he was going to take me out today but he has to go to his friends house."
It must suck having Liam as a Dad, I mean by the way Greg just said they fight a lot and he was supposed to be hanging out with him today and has suddenly had to go to his friends house, I would say it's not the first time his let Greg down.
"Well I have to go some bits for the BBQ, you wanna come with me ? I'll buy you an ice cream." I said making him smile and nod his head.
"Can Mom come ?" Greg asked.
"Yeah, if she wants." I said standing up. Greg just looked up at me the exact puppy dog eyes Lea uses on me. Their bright blue/ green eyes are memorising.
I laughed and picked him up, giving him my ear phones and phone so he can't hear them two arguing I walked down stairs.
"Oh look you've already found a replacement." Liam said walking into me making Greg hide his face in the crook of my neck.
"Come on I need to get some extra things for the BBQ and I'm getting you two ice cream, you look like you could use some best friend time." I said, Lea laughed shaking her head and couldn't resist the idea of free ice cream.
"Lets go." Lea said picking up her phone, I laughed grabbing my keys and we walked out of the beach house. I love Gwen and Max's house, it's so awesome. Having the beach, having a dock about thirty feet away from your house where Max's and Dad's boats are is pretty damn cool.
The drive only took about twenty minutes because of an accident so I had to go the long way but I don't mind driving, I find it quite relaxing.
"Can I go look at the toys ? Pwease." Greg begged, Lea looked at me and I shrugged, am I supposed to say no ?
"Alright but stay there and don't wonder off because we will leave you here for the monsters to eat you alive." Lea said making Greg laugh as he ran off.
"Why did you bring us here ?" Lea asked.
I'm strong but I can't carry all the bags by myself, who does she think I am ? Superman. Everyone knows I'm a pirate.
"Because I felt sorry for Greg, Liam's obviously let him down before and he seemed somewhat excited. Our Dads never ever let us down like that, we didn't have a lot growing but we still had the best childhood we could of asked for because our parents made sure we never went without, I'm not replacing Liam, I'm just trying to add some type of filling so he can have fun before you guys leave but I expect that next time you come to LA you bring him, his got a big family now which means he'll be spoilt rotten." I said making Lea laugh as she put her arm around me.
"I can't believe he'll fall in front of you. He'd normally whisper it to me but he is actually talking and he let you hold him ? He won't even let Liam hold him." Lea said.
Maybe because I'm not a son of a bitch who thinks it's okay to ditch my son at such short notice just so I can fuck around with my buddies. Just a thought.
"He came and sat on my lap when I closed the door." I said, Lea looked me up and down "what ?"
"He came in and we heard you shout at Liam and he got scared and hid into me so I stood up and closed the door so it downed the volume a bit and he came and sat on my lap, I said I have to come here to get some bits and I'll buy him an ice cream and he asked if you wanted to come. I think he just needs to know that someone is there for him because I know with you working in a hospital by the time you come home all you wanna do is sleep and I'm just assuming here but something tells me Liam's focus isn't on Greg." I laughed going straight to the alcohol section.
Some of us are big drinkers and some of us aren't but Max makes this awesome BBQ sauce that has jack Daniels in which I must say is one of my favourites, Max and Dad are quite good at using alcohol in cooking and it tastes amazing.
"When we get back prepare for a thousand questions." Lea laughed "I told Sarah you kissed me also Sue is coming round again so if I'm getting a little mouthy just lock me in a room somewhere."
Sue hasn't ever really been good friends with us, she is the golden child but she's a total bitch, she thinks she's better than everyone else and that her opinion is the right opinion, but sometimes she's talking out of her ass.
"I didn't kiss you on purpose, it was an accident........like you." I laughed getting a punch in the arm "I love you really."
I managed to update with my phone on 5%, my brother took my charger from my Grandma's house this morning when going to a friends so I have to wait for him to get back. I hope you like this story if you do please remember to vote and comment 💙😎🦄
