Lea POV
"You excited ?" Riker asked making me laugh as I ran a hand through his hair. Getting back in the early hours of yesterday morning was actually okay because we slept all day and pretty much all afternoon, Greg didn't get out my bed he stayed in there all day, even when I told him to wake up for dinner he said no he wasn't hungry, so today Mom and Stormie have gone out to get McDonalds breakfast and everyone else is still asleep, I accidentally woke Riker up by throwing my guts up.
"Excited to have my body ripped in half and be in labour for god knows how many hours ? I'm so excited." I said sarcastically as I ran my hand through his bed hair, you know how Riker has some what of a deep voice naturally ? His morning voice is so freaking sexy and it can last for ages.
"How long were you in labour with Greg for ?" Riker asked making me laugh. "I can't answer that honestly because I don't actually know."
"Isn't labour when you like you know feel the baby ?" Riker asked.
"When I got told I was pregnant I instantly said I wanted to have a C-section and if I couldn't have a C-section then the baby is staying with me and they said I couldn't have a C-section unless something went wrong and it was an emergency so I started panicking when she told me some people have died having kids so I went into a complete freak out mode and I said I won't have the baby then, if I can hold it for 9 months I can hold it for another 9 months, I was already past my due date and nothing had happened and my friend came to me with a bunch of needles and I got scared thinking she was going to induce me but when she explained that they will make me numb from the waist down so I won't feel a single pain I said I'd do it, we went in the pool and were in there for a good five maybe six hours, she got out to get us drinks and then I just felt like every single bone in my body was being broken, she called an ambulance and when they got to the hospital my other friend looked at me like I was crazy, turns out that bone breaking pain was actually Greg, the injections only work when you go into labour, after Greg came out for some unknown my body went into shock and my heart slowed down lower then anyone's heart should ever beat and they thought I was having a heart attack, I spent three days in the ICU with a life support, I didn't see Greg until the fourth day." I said making Riker sit up and look at me angrily.
"So you could of died and non of us would of known about it, great idea moving to place where you have no family, what would we get a phone call ? Oh hi how's your day going ? Oh good by the way your best friend is dead, she died having your baby that you won't know about for another 7 years, have a good day." Riker said pretending to put a phone down.
We're both quite sarcastic and it caused most of our arguments growing up, it would turn into a sarcastic argument, now that I think about it, it's quite funny.
"Riker things were clearly changing between us, things we were going to accept easily, we were both in relationships and cheated, everything was changing and I wasn't sure if I liked the change, either way I was going to end up in Manhattan because that's where I was going to go, you know that, when Liam said he was moving there I decided that it would be good to go there before, would rather get a phone call saying I died or see me go through it, you wouldn't be allowed in the room anyway. Look I know you're worrying about the baby, so am I but Riker it's still early days alright, we have other stuff to worry about like Rydel planning the wedding, she says she wants to get married in April, I'll be 9 months pregnant, I could be early or I could be late but I don't want to risk it, everything is going to be okay but we're going have to start taking some chill pills which also means I have to go to the doc...actually I'll just get my friend to send me some, everything will be okay you wanna know why ?" I asked putting my hand on his neck making him sigh with relief.
If you've ever seen pictures of Riker you'll see the awkward positions he can sleep in, when he was younger like a teenager he used to sleep across the bed with his neck bending back over the mattress.
"Why ?" He asked leaning his neck back trying to crack it making me laugh "you know how people say my boyfriend is my best friend ?" I asked cracking his neck "thanks and yeah.." he said lifting his head back up.
"My best friend is my boyfriend." I laughed pecking his lips, Riker smiled and kissed me back, grabbing my thighs he pulled me onto his lap and laid down.
"Greg they're still sleeping, come on I'll make you a big milkshake." Rydel said just as the door handle went down making Riker and I stop.
"Extra ice cream and whipped cream with chocolate on top plus marshmallows ?" Greg asked as they walked away from the door.
"You still think having kids is so fun ?" I asked making the both of us burst out laughing. "We'll work something out." Riker said as the front door closed.
"No !" I laughed as Riker and I ran for the door and ran down stairs trying to beat each other, ending up on the floor at the bottom of the stairs.
"Oh my god !" Mom said running in from the kitchen, Riker and I looked at each other and started laughing again "did you two race and fall down ?" Stormie asked as the smell of McDonalds filled my nose.
"That was freaking awesome !" I laughed as Riker stood up, grabbing my hand and helping me up "is the baby okay ?" He whispered making me nod as we walked into the kitchen.
"Food !" Ryland shouted being pushed to the floor by the others making me laugh "someone's got the giggles today." Riker laughed.
"You have been laughing a lot, sure there's nothing hormonally wrong ? Maybe need to up the dose on your tablets..." Sarah said putting a straw in her cup.
"I wish my last name started with an R." I said randomly, Mom looked at me and shook her head "why do you wish that ? You strange little person."
"What would my initials be if my last name started with a R ?" I asked.
"LAR ?" Ross asked.
"What's Riker's ?" I asked making Stormie laugh.
"RAL." Mom said realising what I was getting at "if you're lucky your initials will be LAL." Rocky laughed slyly putting his arm around Sarah's waist as he walked past "of Sarah's lucky her initials will be SML." Riker said.
Rydel, Sarah and Sue both have the same middle name.
Sorry I haven't update but I do want you to know this book will FINISH at chapter 50 and I will write Prince Charming 2.
