Lea POV
"Come on please do it." Rydel whined for the 1000th time along with the others, Riker looked at me and smiled putting his hand out, sighing I took it and stood up "You drop me, we're going to see how long you can hold your breath for." I said making Riker laugh.
Remember when I said some the dances weren't exactly sibling friendly ? well this was from the 8th dance we did and we said we don't understand how it isn't exactly sibling friendly but the point is for some reason the guys got it into their heads they wanted to see how flexible I am, instead of doing the splits or something they decided this was better for me.
"You ready ?" Riker asked making me nod, he slowly span me around and dipped me, grabbing my leg, as soon as his hand got half way up my thigh, I jumped up on my left leg and put both of my legs over his left shoulder and fell forwards, going up through his legs, I wrapped my legs around his waist and slowly pulled myself up wrapping my arms around his neck.
"I can see why they wouldn't let you and Rydel do it." I said, Riker laughed and pecked my lips as he put me down.
The way I described it made it sound like a slow process but it's not it's actually really fast because it's a trick of the eye, so for people watching you'd think Riker is lifting and flipping me but the reality is Riker is like my prop, he just holds me as I kick my legs over his shoulder, the rest is me, I push myself up, but because of the speed of it you don't see it as that you just see it almost like his throwing me over his shoulder and catching me, well my legs wrap around his waist before the rest of my body comes up.
"You kids ready ?" Dad asked, Greg has been begging us to take him to a water since we got here and now that he can swim, not strongly but good enough we decided it would be fun, we were going to ask Sue but she's hanging out with her 'friend' and our annoying cousins.
We all nodded and walked around the back instead of going all through the house, we can just walk around the back and we're at the van. At first we started arguing about who's sitting where then it became a pushing fight, which ended up with Ryland getting slightly stuck so Riker and Rocky went in and pulled him out which ended with them on top of each other, and Rocky had a nice elbow to his balls.
"Sorry bro." Riker said getting a hit in the balls, all of us groaning as he gagged from the pain "Is he okay ?" Stormie asked getting in. Riker shook his head and rested his head on his arms as we all got in, I turned around and laughed stroking his hair.
"Didn't you accidentally kick him once and he started peeing blood ?" Rydel asked, I nodded. What happened was we had been swimming and we were having a prank war and Riker thought putting butter on the floor was a good idea,he went in front of me and as I slipped I caught his ankle and he fell down but as he did he sort of twisted and I thought I had killed him because he was just screaming in extreme pain and it was like one of those things when you accidentally hit your younger sibling too hard and you ask them to stop and you know they're faking so if you go near them they just get you in a head lock, I thought he was doing one of those because growing we got into some real bad play fights, I've nose bleeds, sprains all sorts.
"Why would you do that ?" Greg asked.
"I didn't mean too he was being a idiot and tried pranking me but it back fired, you alright Riker?" I asked making him shake his head.
"Riker what's up ?" Mark asked looking in the rear view mirror.
"He elbowed me so I hit him and I guess I hit him a little hard, Mom you got a cold pack or something ?" Rocky asked, Stormie nodded and handed me a ice pack, Stormie brings anything and everything with her, I used to think it was pointless but having 8 kids I can see why.
"Thanks." Riker said taking the ice pack off of me, sighing with relief, he didn't dare sit up straight so kept in the same position. "You wanna hit me back ?" Rocky asked.
"Just sleep with one eye open." Riker said laughing.
That is my childhood in one conversation, you hit someone too hard ? they get to hit you back or they'll get you back when you're sleeping, now that I think about my childhood was somewhat a bit messed up, we were violently playful.
"Riker once you're out you're out." Dad said making us all laugh, well not always.
"Touché." Riker said sitting up straight groanings.
"Does it still hurt ?" Ryland asked making Riker nod, oh shit. You can see part of the hickey and you can see the bite mark, or maybe it's because I know they're there and can notice it.
Mark pulled up and we all looked at Riker, he won't be able to stand for at least another ten minutes, Rocky is a lot stronger then he expects and I also think he was aiming for Riker's stomach so he was going to hit him a little bit harder but obviously he miss judged it and ended up getting a very very painful place.
"Well we can't all stay here, people will think we're crazy." Rydel said.
"We're a family of 14 but 13 because Sue didn't want to come." I said looking at her.
"How about this ? We go get the wrist bands, then I bring theirs and hopefully by that time he can walk." Stormie said making us all nod in agreement.
As they all went in, Riker and I sat in the back of the van "If I take my shirt off they're going to see the marks and I bet $5 They will forever mention it." Riker laughed.
"There's no point in betting money on it we already know it's going to happen." I said, Riker rolled his eyes and put his arm out grabbing my leg and pulled me, spinning me around last minute, I will give Riker that, he is very fast, especially when it comes down to spiders, he would beat Usain Bolt if there was a spider.
"I don't think we should tell anyone about the baby just yet." I said.
"Maybe you should do a retest." Riker said nodding his head agreeing with me.
"I don't mean because I'm unsure, I just don't want them getting their hopes up and I don't want you too either because if something does happen say I have a miscarriage, I don't want to effect us too much like obviously it would but I mean I wouldn't want to break up over it you know." I said, Riker looked at me and smiled "then what if maybe, we would make it so it's harder to break up."
"What ?" I laughed.
"I'm not saying we have too but we could like get.....engaged."
