Sarah POV
"Where's the others ?" Ross asked walking into the ice rink, it has been nearly a month and one week since the big argument and the whole break up thing between Riker and Lea.
It's been hard seeing them like that, it's gotten so bad they don't even talk to each other, they don't even look at each other ! Greg is really starting to feel the effect of it, he keeps asking who's side he has to be on and you know as his family I don't like seeing him like that, so I've called a family meeting minus Mom's and Dad's and Lea and Riker.
"They're not coming and there's a reason Mom's and Dad's aren't here, the only reason we're doing it here is because I promised Mom's and Dad's we would stay out of it but I can't keep watching Riker and Lea act the way they are, this is ridiculous, this is the longest they've ever gone without talking and being in the same house, before it was a couple of hours." I said making everyone nod.
"Well we can't lock them in a room together, we already did that." Ross sighed smiling.
That's a point, we can't lock them in a room, even though it worked we've already done it. We don't want it too obvious, we want it so it's them doing it but we're just doing them a favour by giving them a small push.
"What's that noise ?" Rocky asked, I laughed and pointed at Greg playing on my phone "what ? I'm playing truth or dare." Greg said innocently.
"Those were the days, didn't Lea and Riker kiss when we played that ? It was only for like 10 seconds but we managed to get them to peck." Ryland laughed, giving me a very mean but clever idea.
"She's smiling evilly, that isn't good." Rydel said hiding into Ellington in a jokingly way.
"I'm not going to lie, one of them is going to get hurt, this can go one of two ways I haven't exactly decided on it but I'm going to say it's Riker because there's more option-"
"Can you just tell us ?" Ellington asked rolling his eyes.
"Greg can you go over there for me please ?" I asked, Greg nodded and walked over into the gym and sat down continuing to play on my phone "what's the plan ?"
"We play dirty truth or dare, it's going to be out numbered and obviously things will be restricted because you're siblings but we can always change the game to fit around us-"
"One of the truths is going to be Lea kisses one of us isn't it ?" Rocky asked making me nod.
"I know it's mean because it's going to hurt Riker but maybe him seeing her kiss someone else, he'll try getting her back or I do it and Lea carries on thinking Riker and I had sex." I said innocently.
That situation is confusing about Riker and I sleeping together because what Lea doesn't know is it's actually happened twice, one of which Riker and I were both drunk, we have no memory of drinking, we have no memory of what happened we just woke up and put the pieces of the puzzle together however the time that we do remember was just simply kissing but then we stopped because it was really weird for us because I see Riker as a baby brother and he sees me as a big sister and him having feelings for Lea, the images going through our minds at the time were weird.
"We can't do that, it'll cause arguments and no doubt Riker will freak his shit, what if we put on a party ? I think we should try a few things because you know if we push it too much it'll blow up in our faces." Ross said.
"Alright how about this we come up with three plans, A, B and C, we try them and if non of them work we let them fix it." Rydel said as Greg came up to me holding my phone.
"It's Riker."
"Thanks kiddo, what's up dumbass ?" I asked putting him on speaker phone.
"Where's your Dad's ?" Riker asked.
"Why do you want to know ?" I asked.
"Because I want to talk to them." Riker said.
"We'll tell you if you get back with Mom." Greg said making al of us laugh, including Riker.
"Bud, I know you want things back to normal but honestly I think me and your Mom are staying just friends." Riker said making Greg sigh, Ryland looked at him and opened his arms out for Greg.
I grabbed my phone and took it off loud speaker and walked outside into the parking lot "you really think that you two are done for good ?" I asked.
Riker sighed "yeah, that's why I want to talk to Dads, I'm uh...thinking about moving into the band house."
"What ? You can't, Riker don't you fucking date back down now mister, you've waited 25 fucking years for th-"
"For what Sarah ? To have the girl I've been in love with all my life as a friend while pregnant with my kid ? I've waited for Lea for years, I've wanted to call her my girlfriend or mine for years and the only other time I should be allowed to call her different is if we ever got married, I waited for Lea to become my girlfriend not my ex, Sarah I need time on my own to think, I can't be in the same house with her knowing I can't hug her, I can't kiss her or whatever, I can't even talk to her, I'm sat in an abandoned parking lot, losing my shit." Riker said making me sigh.
It's been painful seeing them how they are, Lea is around 12 closer to 13 weeks pregnant and she's got a more noticeable bump, it's kinda cute actually to think either my niece or nephew is in there. It's not right, Pops always used to say there was something there, there's something there.
"Hey Riker look, don't talk to Dad's just yet, for Greg his apart of this relationship too, maybe not quite as much if that makes sense but his your son, just play it for a few more days, for him, I have to go but I love you very much." I said hanging up and ran back inside with a smirk on my face.
"What's up with you ?" Ross asked.
"What's was the one thing we said about Riker and Lea growing up ?" I asked.
"Why can't they just make adorable babies already ?" Rydel asked making Greg laugh.
"He totally wants in on that." Ryland laughed.
"They were too close to be best friends." Rocky said making me nod.
"They've always had that something, that something has been there since they were born, we just need to show them it's still there. We're throwing an old fashioned High School party, let's see if we can take them down memory lane." I said.
I don't mean throw it back to the High School days I mean throw the type of party that we actually got them two dancing too, if you know what I mean.
"Me and him can sort out the parents." Ryland said High fiving Greg.
