The clock in my mind struck eleven thirty in the morning when the nob of the dorm room turned, ever so gently, just in case I or any of the girls were sleeping. But I wasn't. They weren't. Kat and Lexi was to busy doing whatever it is the need to do–like grabbing our shoes from the stacks of boxes sitting in the foyer, each in a group labeled for their grade and the name of who the shoes belonged to just so it would be easier to find them, and getting the accessories like purses and jewelry from the Sublevels (also in respective groups with names and grades to be easier to find.) So I was the only one in the room. But I wasn't asleep. I was to busy keeping from reality sinking in to still be sleeping.

"Knock knock. I know you're awake." Alex slipped into the dark room with the only light being from the window. He made his way over to my bed and sat down, resting his arms on the edge with his head resting on them. "So sleepy head, did Lexi come back with a black eye and busted lip?"

I rolled onto my side and eyed him. "No, Blackthorne. She didn't, but I bet Morgan did." I smirked lightly as he shrugged and sat straight.

"Slightly busted lip, but hard to tell unless pointed out to. He'll survive and won't get asked by your parents what happened." I sighed and shook my head.

"I can't believe he actually fought Simon."

"Hey, aren't you the one that called us boys stupid?" A small smile made its presences on my lips.

"And unnecessary." Another sigh escaped from me as I rolled back onto my back and stared at the ceiling. Alex stood up and pulled my desk chair away from my desk and over to my bed for him to sit in. For a while, we just kind of sat in silence and in the dark. But that changed quickly when Alex spoke up.

"So Gallagher, why aren't you up and moving around like everyone else in the mansion?" He rested his elbows on his knees and proped his head on his hands.

"I don't want reality to sink in. I mean, I know when I leave my bed that I will have to start getting ready for our final. Then tomorrow is parent night where all the parents come and we act like how we are looked at and not actually are. Then Saturday you guys leave back to Blackthorne while the rest of us pack to go to wherever for the holidays and Sunday we leave and I'm just not ready for that. This semester was great and everyone made so many memories–"

"Memories as in you failing your first assignment to us and us failing our many assignments of sneaking into Gallagher and you girls embarrassing us?" I laughed.

"Exactly. And then by Sunday, it will go back to the normal I'm used to." I sighed and sat up, swinging my legs over the edge of the bed. "Anyways I should probably get ready. Which is basically just shaving my legs. Oh speaking of, since that's basically all I'm doing, if you want to stay and us keep talking, you can." Alex didn't smirk at this or give me one of those half smiles. He gave me an actual full on smile and nodded.

"Okay yeah, sure."

Half and hour or so passed from the time I started getting ready. I was currently sitting on the bathroom counter with the faucet running and shaving cream lathering my left leg which was propped up on the counter as well with the right hang off. Alex was leaning against the wall across from me and every now and then when he said something, I would fling shaving cream at him. And because of this, it took twice as long. As Alex was in the middle of saying something that he was sure to get shaving cream flinged at for, I granted him a free pass seeing as I interrupted him.

"Hey, are you waxing or shaving?" I stopped Alex mid sentenced for him to look at me with a confused expression.

"What?" He asked, clearly taken back.
