(Vic's POV)

Today was the first time that Kellin came over to my house. It was our 5th date and I decided that we could spend it at my place with dinner and a movie. So I set up a candle lit dinner of chicken fajitas and a small salad on the side, so original, right? It seems that he really enjoyed my cooking and I wasn't going to turn down such a heartwarming compliment.

But now it has been at least two hours of watching Elf and having some egg nog with rum -like I said so original-. Kellin got up from the couch, glass empty and a little dizzy from getting up too fast.

"This has been an amazing, Vic" he smiled, softly.

"Yeah, I had a lot of fun" I agreed with a short nod.

"I honestly can't wait for our next date. Makes me sad that I have to leave now" he pouted with the most adorable expression.

"Who said you have to leave, Kell?" I asked almost pleadingly. 

I really wanted him to stay.

"I must" he sighed "It's late and my roommate must be freaking out, right about now" 

 "I understand," I said "How about I walk you out"

"Thank you, Vic" he smiled, softly.

Kellin grabbed his coat and slipped on his toms and I waited for him by the door. 

To our surprise...it was snowing! We never get snow here in San Diego, it's pretty warm out here. It seemed that not only my mind was blown but so was my neighbors who were standing in the middle of the street, gawking at the sky. Immediately, my first thought was to call Mike but then I remembered that Kellin was going to leave.

"Oh, I'm not letting you leave now" I declared.

"Vic, you don't need to worry" Kellin protested "It's not that bad"

"Oh no Kells" I shook my head "I'm not letting you walk nearly three miles to your apartment in the snow, only with a coat as the warmest piece clothing on you"

"Why don't you lend me a coat then" he offered.

"Still not letting you walk" I refused.

"Then you could drive me, silly" he laughed.

"I don't have snow chains...in fact, no one in San Diego has snow chains, so no getting any ideas of calling an Uber" I warned.

Kellin sighed and traveled back in my house, slipping his phone out his pocket. He tried pressing the on button but the screen wouldn't turn on.

"Crap! I think my phone is dead" Kellin sighed.

"Hey it's alright" I assured "You can stay here, I don't mind"

I really don't mind

"I really can't stay" Kellin sighed "My roommate will start to worry"

"But, it's cold outside" I insisted.

"The neighbors will start to think" he muttered.

"Who gives a shit about them" I scoffed.

"I really should say no" he sighed "but I had a lot of fun with you, Vic"
