  All I could here was beeping and the sound of my breathing mask. I felt a warm hand holding mine and sniffles coming from the warm handed person. I slowly peeled my eyes open bright lights were everywhere and everything was white, blinking a couple time the blur of white starting to fade. Looking around the room I could tell I was in a hospital my arms and legs covered in bandages. My neck was in a brace and I had a breathing mask on. I tried to turn but pain shot through me and I stopped tears following the pain.  

"Hi Micah how are you feeling?" A doctor asked me I read her name tag Dr. Grey it said in fine print she was rambling about headaches any swelling, everything will be ok, I blanked out for a second but looked back up at her I went to speak but nothing would come out. It hurt to try and say anything but yet nothing would come out like someone had pressed the mute button to a tv. "Here this might help." She took the breathing mask off my face and told me my throat was probably sore from the breathing tube they had to use when I first got here. She handed me a cup of water and I took a sip and tried setting the cup down on the table completely missing. "I'll be right back I'm gonna go get some paper towels we ran out in here." She gave me a smile and walked out the door and disappeared around the corner.

"Micah are you okay I was so worried. I thought you were dead." I hear Naomi from my right side begin to cry I held her hand and rubbed my thumb against it trying to calm her but a few tears began to run down my cheeks.

"What even happened when you were driving and you know." She asked sniffling back her tears and wanting to have a serious conversation about this.

"Well I was driving home and I was kind of tired from lack of sleep since Sophie went missing and I've been having really bad night terrors. I dozed off a little while driving and drifted off into the other lane but it was to late and I lost control of the car. My car started spinning off the road and began to roll when it hit the ditch. When i opened my eyes I was upside down so I unbuckled and crawled out through my window. I was looking around and I seen the other car in flames and heard the girl screaming for help so I pulled her out and she told me her sister was in the backseat so I crawled through the door and the car was on its side and her sister was just hanging there and I went to go towards her so I could grab her and then everything went black. The last thing I remember is being on the stretcher and I blacked out again  and then i just woke up. How did the ambulances,police cars,and firefighters get there?" I asked still not know how they got there because we never called anybody cause we didn't have the chance to.

"Well after my dad picked me up from the coffee shop we were driving down the road and I see a car in flames on the side of the road and my dad stopped the car immediately and I dialled 911 I told the operator everything that I could we had the girl that was standing outside crying sit in our car in a blanket till the police, ambulance and fire fighters got there. It wasn't till they pulled you out of the car I realized it was you, you started screaming and then blacked out. We followed them to the hospital and they took you to the ER right away and I seen a quick glimpse of you and it was so scary I was so worried about you they told us that you had some minor cuts and bruises but that your neck was sprained really badly. There was a huge chunk of glass on the side of your stomach that they didn't know how deep it was and your shoulder was out of it's socket. They took you into surgery and removed the glass and you were lucky and didn't have any internal bleeding. They told us we could come back tomorrow at 1 and that you'd probably have some slight pain, a head ache and a sore throat when you woke up." She told me, I started to observe my legs looking at the cuts and bruises all over them I moved the blanket and my lifted my nightgown to see my side I couldn't see much except some bandages.

  I put the blanket back down and the doctor opened the door with paper towels in her hand and started cleaning up the water mess on the floor and checked everything and told me my parents should be here in an hour or two. Looking up at the clock it read 2:23 pm my parents would be here in an hour or so, I ate a sandwich and some green jello not feeling that hungry so I decided to catch up on some more sleep.
