Chapter 10

I take a deep breath and walk up to Aiden's house with him.

first of all. wow. his house is massive! 

Aides seems to notice my astonishment "Do you like it?" 

"Like it!? Yeah! fucking hell I'd love to live here."

Aiden laughs and opens the door. And just when I thought I couldn't get any more astonished by this place. 

There is a massive staircase cascading down, there are pretty paintings on the wall, and everything is neat, white and tidy. 

"Bloody hell" I mumble to myself. 

Aiden obviously heard me as he looked up at me and grinned. 

"AIDEEENNNN!" a young voice suddenly yells. I turn around and see a little girl running towards Aiden with her arms wide open. 

"Hey Daisy!" Aiden scoops her up in his arms and tickles her. 

this is the cutest shit i've ever witnessed in my whole life.

Aiden notices me staring and he blushes. yes. Aiden Parker fucking blushed and I now feel blessed to have witnessed it. 

Aides puts Daisy down and smiles at me. "Daisy this is Isabel. Remember me telling you about her?" Daisy nods enthusiastically and comes towards me with her little hand outstretched. 

"Hi I'm Daisy!" 

she's so cute oh my lord 

I take hold of her little hand and carefully shake it. "Hey! nice to meet you Daisy"

Daisy giggles "You're really pretty!" She turns back to Aiden "you were right! she looks like an angel!" 

oh my- did Aiden say- oh my god.

Aiden blushes madly and tries to cover it with a laugh "shhhh Daisy" He then pulls the ice cream out the bag and hands it over to Daisy. Daisy's little face lights up as soon as she sees it. 

"Thank you! you're the best Aiden!!" She squeals running into the kitchen to grab a spoon. 

Aiden and me make instant eye contact. "Uh about what she said.." Aiden mumbles. 

"No it's fine don't worry, you know what little kids are like." 

shit why did I say that?

"Right yea.." Aiden awkwardly says. 

Just at that moment Daisy comes bouncing back into the room with multiple spoons. She plops down on the couch and beckons for me and Aiden to join her. 

"I wanna watch a movie Aiden! pleaseeee you promised!" she begs.

Aiden smiles "Of course Daisy, what do you wanna watch?" 

Daisy beams and runs off to grab her favourite disney movie. 

Aiden smiles at me "Sorry about her, she's a bit crazy." 

I laugh "It's ok. I think she's cute." 

Aiden grins at me and grabs the ice cream. "cmon. try some candyfloss. live a little" 

I smile and was about to reach for another spoon until Aiden plane fed the ice cream on his spoon straight into my mouth. Embarrassingly I wasn't expecting it so I choked on how cold it was. 

of course I would do that. of course I would somehow find a way to make a cute moment awkward.

Aiden realises I'm choking and he looks alarmed as hell. I cough frantically and think about all the reasons that add up to why I'm a disaster waiting to happen.

"Isabel! I'm so sorry oh my gosh." Aiden pats my back and puts his arm around me comfortingly.

Eventually I stop coughing and turn back to face a very concerned Aiden. 

"I'm fine" I say in a croaky voice. 

Aiden breathes a sigh of relief and flops on the couch. 

I smile and nudge him "You were so totally worried for me" 

He blushes and I laugh and cover his cute lil face with a pillow. Aiden grabs a pillow too and suddenly we are having some kind of game to see who can suffocate who with a pillow first. 

Then Daisy comes back in holding a bunch of dvds and some of her dolls.

"What are you guys doing?" she asks.

I cringe and realise the position we're in. Aiden is straddling me and holding my hands behind my head, pinning them down. I am lying flat out unable to move as Aiden is too strong. Aiden smirks at me before removing himself off me. He flops back down on the sofa next to me and puts frozen into the dvd player. Bella jumps up and down squealing in excitement. Aiden grabs the vanilla ice cream and hands it to me. 

"Here's your basic ice cream" he teases while eating his candyfloss ice cream."

I smile "You know you're basically eating our egg child?" 

Aiden laughs loudly and coughs on his ice cream. 

"SHHHH" Daisy looks up at us from her beanbag. 

Aiden looks at me and laughs. We both stop talking and just watch frozen in silence and in complete content.
