ISABEL'S POV:

You'd think the worst part of your boyfriend's death would be the moment when he died.
No.
It's waiting hours on end in the Hospital for someone to come and tell you your boyfriend is dead.
Even though you already know. Even though you can feel it in your heart. Even though you can't let go.

After what felt like days a doctor with a clipboard finally came over.

"Isabel Burkitt?" He questions.

"That would be me.."

"Here waiting for Aiden Parker?" He questions again.

"Yes sir.."

"Come on through, He requests to see you."

"Sir.. he's dead. Don't rub it in my face please."

"Umm I don't know how that idea got in your head miss but Aiden Parker is indeed Alive."

"H...e... he's alive?!"

"Yes Madam, Please follow me."

AIDEN'S ALIVE!
I can't even express my emotions.
I keep thinking...'How' but right now I don't even care. That's to question after seeing the love of my life!
Tears of joy appear in my eyes as the doctor leads me to a room, and I see Aiden.
My heart breaks for him as I see he's lying down on a bed and many pipes of oxygen are connected to him.
I see that his wound has been cleared up and stitches have been sewn. He's wearing those hospital white robes and his hair is spikey on the pillow.
Even in hospital clothes and terrible hair he looks sexy as fuck.

I run over to him and he opens his arms wide smiling at me.
I bury my face in his neck and smell his scent.

"Hey Candyfloss." He whispers in my ear as he rubs my back. (my  tender spot) I stop myself from kissing him right then and there because the doctor is still in the room.

"How are you still alive?! He shot you?!... Your eyes were closing and you wouldn't wake up."

"Silly princess... I hadn't died! I just fell unconscious!" He chuckles into my shoulder.

Oh.

"Omg I thought I had lost you!"

"You could never lose me..." He says.
We hug for a while. Just smelling each other and feeling happy.

"And Candyfloss..?" He murmurs.

"Hhmmm"

"Maybe you should check my heartbeat before you assume I'm dead." He says smirking.

"Yup.. maybe I should have...."

After more hugging the doctor told me the medicine Aiden should be taking and all of the things he should do to rest.
Then he told me Aiden had to stay in hospital for 2 more days.
Only then he could come home.

I left the hospital feeling happy and confident.
AIDEN'S ALIVE...
Not dead.
Alive.
And nothing can ruin anything now.
