I seen her whole facade just drop, her eyes dulled, and her head and shoulders sagged, it was Angelica, sera gave up control, but when I looked closely she was crying, she lifted her head and spoke straight to neron.
"I'm sorry, but you can't help, thank you for being a friend to me I will be eternally grateful to you Neron, but this is goodbye" she spoke softly
In the next few seconds before we understood what she meant by this is goodbye, she shifted and bolted from the room, from me and from everyone else. The pain that shot through me was unbearable, my mate was gone and there wasn't a damn thing I could do about it.
