Angelica was fine, she got taken back to her room and I haven't had time to go and see her since that day she asked me to mark her. I got called straight after because we caught one of the rogues that had been scoping the area, it's taken till now for us to get some type of answers.

Now I have what I need to take James down... well almost everything, Angelica hadn't come out of her room, her meals were taken to her. she had the bathroom ensuite. She wasn't talking to anyone apart from serafina who was taking her food to her and cadmen who goes up to see her at least once a week. Neron couldn't even get her to respond to him through the mind link. Even though I'm her alpha and her mate, after what happened I'm afraid to try and talk to her so I haven't, I can't sense what she feels anymore and the bond is weak. Coda is being stubborn and only focusing on how to bring James down, he feels betrayed by Angelica and Sera, he doesn't want to see them. I worry that I'm going to come out of this mate less, it hasn't been an easy road for me and i doubted I could have been so lucky to find my mate. Then I did and nothing still has gone right it's all screwed up and quite honestly i think maybe it will be easier just to walk away from it. I can't have a mate who doesn't trust me, and I can't talk to her because I know I've hurt her again, she's accepted a rejection that was never voiced and that's why our bond is getting weaker. The hard part is going to be letting the bond go altogether which is the way it seems to be heading, Angelica hasn't tried talking to me either. Sera was shutting herself off to everyone except Angelica, so this is the fate I'm accepting.
