Epilogue

4 Years Later......

Angelica's P.O.V

I sat on the steps of the pack house watching my mate running around the yard with all the packs pups he had told me time and time again that he couldn't wait to have one of our own and I agreed, I loved Wesley with everything I had in me and more. The sad part was that no matter how hard we tried to get pregnant, it never happened.

It pained us at first because one we wouldn't have anybody to take over as Alpha when it was time to hand it over, we never gave up on the thought of pups as I was optimistic and I always stayed positive. The moon Goddess would never allow us to come this far and not give us the one thing we wanted the most, she has proved time and time again that she isn't cruel. So we played the waiting game, in that time we had spent more and more time with the pups that didn't have parents, we provided everything for them, we played with them and we acted like parents to them. This was all up until a month ago when we finally got the news that we would finally be parents. Yes... I am pregnant and the best part is it's twins, a boy and a girl.

I was so excited, it started because I was sick and Wesley was off on pack business, I took myself down to the pack doctor to get looked over and we did the tests in which told me I was definitely pregnant, I was so excited and I was going to call Wesley through the mind link to tell him, but then I thought let him work, i'll surprise him when he gets back. I still remember the look on his face....

Flashback

Oh come on, seriously how long does this shit take....... I had run around the pack house like a headless chook organising with one of the cooks to organise a meal for Wesley and I once he got back, I told them I would mind link them once we were ready for it to be brought up and I was going to get everything else ready. I had set up a table and chairs in our room lit candles and made it all romantic.... and yes I know that this is the man's job but hey i like to think we are all equals and I wanted this night to stay with us forever, we were finally getting our happily ever after. I told him through our mind link that he needed to come and see me the minute he got home that i missed him and i just wanted him to come and hold me. It wasn't long after that he was stood in front of me with a puzzled look on his face..

" what's all this for? "

" I just wanted to surprise you, dinner is on it's way up " I smiled at him

The way he looked at me I knew that he knew i was up to something, but I wanted him to sweat on it a little bit. Dinner had arrived and we both sat down, I started eating while Wesley just kept staring at me like i was crazy..

" Quick eat or it will go cold"

" What are you upto?" he chuckled

" Nothing, I just wanted to do something nice for you and to tell you i'm pregnant " I smiled

" Well it is lovel.... wait what...... did you.... are we..... Oh my god.... really?" He stuttered

I laughed as i nodded, he was up out of his seat quicker than you could say pups kissing me like his life depended on it before i realised we were both tearing up. It was reality, we had waited so long for this moment, to finally be pregnant seemed kind of surreal.

End Flashback

Duke had been around a few times, we limited the amount of time he and I were around each other because there was still that bond what ever it was that was there and we didn't want to encourage it, so if anything needed to be sorted between the two packs Wesley would go to him that way we didn't have to worry about it.

Cadmen and Arella had three pups already and Arella had made more of an effort in apologising to me for all of those horrible things she used to say and as much as she was a bitch, i could see she was trying and it wasn't just for my brothers benefit. She heard the real story, and she seen the proof and once that came to light she was shocked, and appalled at herself for treating me the way she did. I told her I had forgiven her and that maybe if i had of just told everyone then we could have avoided it all together, so it's safe to say that since then we have become really close friends.

Neron and Seraphina have one pup and due to complications can't have anymore but as Seraphina stated she is glad that she just got to experience it, if it means she only has one pup it was fine by her she was just glad she had one. At the time when she said this though i had kind of got a bti upset cause i still couldn't no matter how hard i tried and when she realised what she said, she apologised profusely saying things like putting her foot in her mouth and just digging herself a bigger hole. I told her it was fine and that I would get my chance when the time was right.

Surprisingly Duke is doing a great job with the pack even without a mate, however we all know that he needed to find someone who was capable of being his Luna because he was going to need someone to take over when he was ready to hand over the alpha title, and when he thought about this he went off the handle telling us he'd screwed up again. We finally got it out of him..... He found his second chance mate...... but told her he couldn't be with her cause he was a horrible person. I asked who it was and he told me that it was one of the warriors from our pack and so i went to talk to her. I explained the situation and what had happened, and told her that she needed to go to Duke and tell him to stop being a douche bag and grow up. That's exactly what she did, her name is Evangeline and they now have 5 pups lets just say they were busy wolves, but in all honesty they were great parents.

2 years Later....

Wesley's P.O.V

I am the happiest man alive, I have my mate and my pups both 1 and a half. our boy Amory and our little girl Meckenzie. Angelica and I were so happy when we found out that we were finally getting our chance to be parents and finally catching up with all of our friends and family who already have pups. i finally had someone to hand over the alpha title too when the time was right.

I was currently watching Angelica and the twins sitting with Cadmen, Arella and their pups all laughing away. After the stories I heard of Angelica's upbringing I was glad that she was able to finally let go and have that relationship with her brother. It took a while for her to fully forgive him and it did her the world of good. She had even forgiven the one person who was half to blame for the shit she copped after her parents death and I was glad that she had put it behind her and was able to make that friendship work.

She was the best Luna I could have hoped for in a mate and my pack were doing just great. My dad had handed over the title of Alpha about 7 years ago and he and my mother had gone travelling until they had called one day saying they wouldn't be coming back because they found their little piece of haven. 

Duke and my relationship has gotten stronger and the alliance still sticks, I almost didn't believe it when he told us about his second chance mate and Angelica being Angelica had to make it all right and she had gone to Evangeline and told her to go get Duke and not give him a choice. I laughed when she told me the story and honestly we were all better off. The minute Duke had given up and completed the mating process, his and Angelica's bond finally broke for good and it made it a helluva lot easier for us all to be around each other without it being awkward. We all went out on the odd occassion to catch up and honestly life was just great.

Amory and Meckenzie were very smart, Amory had his mothers eye's but looked alot like me and Meckenzie was just a spitting image of Angelica. I finally had my family and I hoped to have more pups in the future but one step at a time. For now it was just being grateful for the little family I have now.
