Chapter 1

Elsa's point of view

They just found out my secret. The look on my sister's face. I am their queen. I thought they'd understand.

I was wrong.

It's all her fault. I wished she'd remember... Somehow. Now it's too late. Yes I'm free to let my powers go, but at what cost?

"Just go to bed Elsa," I tell myself.

I still can't believe I made this castle. I can't believe I've always had this much power in me... I can't believe a lot of things lately.

In the middle of the night, I suddenly felt a chill. I always thought since I had ice powers the cold didn't bother me.

Little did I know.

I open my eyes slowly, it takes me a few seconds to realise what was in front of me... Who was in front of me.

"Jack," I said recognising my childhood friend.

"My beautiful Elsa," he said with a smile and I realized how much I missed the warmth in him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked trying to recount our last encounter.

"I'm your Guardian, remember? I show up when you need me. And you need me, don't you?"

"Yes. Wait. No. I finally let my powers go. I'm happy. I don't need you." I said in both confusion and anger.

"Are you? Really? The Elsa I know would never let things get this crazy. She would never risk her sister's life like that."

"The Elsa you know?" My voice rising as I release my anger. "You left me when I needed you most. You don't know what it's like to have to hide who you are for so long. And I didn't put my sister's life in danger. This is all her fault," I shout at him.

Then it got quiet. I watched his expression change. I stood there suddenly not knowing how to behave around him.
