Elsa's point of view

I ran outside as fast as I could, then I saw the lake.

It was frozen.

It was still frozen from our walk. I ran through it. I didn't care that my legs hurt. I didn't care that Anna was behind me.

All I cared about was telling him.

The only thing that was keeping me going was the fact that I had to tell him.

He had to know.

I can't bare the thought of him thinking I hate him, not knowing my true feelings. Then I heard a scream behind me, and I froze.

It was Anna. She stood there.

Silent.

I got closer, then I saw it. The reason why she was screaming. She was about to fall. The ice was cracking around her. She saved me once, now it was my turn. I slowly walked towards her. Ironically not one of us knew how to swim, so whoever falls dies.

The people of Arendelle started to gather around the lake. I was getting so close, then I heard him.

Jack.

He screamed out my name. At first, I thought it was to get my attention, then I realised it was to warn me. The ice around me was cracking. Jack could fly, he cold save me. Then I remembered he can only save one of us.

I had to choose between my life and hers. I wanted her to live, but I want to live too. I wanted to tell Jack I love him.

What was I thinking?

How can I be so selfish?

"Save Anna," I shouted. He hesitated then flew over to her and rescued her just in time. I closed my eyes and heard the ice around me break. Then I was taken back to the darkness.
