Ch. 4

Normani's POV

I laid on my bed with my headphones in blaring some music. It was about 2:00 in the morning. I know i'll be tired for school in the morning but right now, the only thing important was getting the events that happend earlier out of my head. When I was practically cornered in the hallway by Dinah and felt absolutely defensless. Litterally! I was at a loss for words. Instead of a sly comeback, nothing came out.

Getting bored, I turned off my music and went to instagram. One post that popped up on my screen was from Ally's account. The picture was, like all of them are, of her and Troy. I smiled at the idea of their healthy relationship, then scowld once I remembered she was a hoe. After that I started stalking around instagram for about 20 minutes before finally falling asleep.

At school the next day my confidence wasn't exactly on point at the moment. Not only am I terrified of another confrontation from Dinah, but what if people see her as the girl that runs the school. Nah, damn that! I need to improve my confidence and I need to do it now. As i'm walking down the hall with Lauren, Arin, Trey, and Alexa, I just so happened to see Ally putting books in her locker. I stomp over to her and grab the books. "Here let me give you a hand." I throw the books on the floor then kick them a little down the hall. The others behind me started laughing. "Leave me alone Mani! I'm not in the mood for any of your crap!" I scoff at what she said. "Oh so what? Now you got the balls to step up to me you little hoe!" I slam her locker shut and she jumps at the loud noise. "I'm not a hoe!" she retorts back. "Are you sure about that?" I now get up in her face. "THEN WHY IS IT THAT YOU TRIED TO FUCK MY BOYFRIEND!" There were oooo's heard all around. "I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING HE-" "SHUT YO HOE ASS UP!" Arin was soon at my side yelling at Ally. I gave him a weird look as to why he went off like that but oh well because I guess I was doing the same. Ally now has tears in her eyes. A part of me felt sad for her, but another part didn't really care. "Can you... ju...just leave me a...alone." She looked like she was about to start bawling. "THE SECOND YOU STOP HOEING AROUND IS THE SECOND I'LL LEAVE YOU ALONE!"

Dinah's POV

When I woke up this morning I did the usual morning routine before heading off to school. Today felt like a good day. It truly did. I was going to arrive at school without any problems, get my learn on without any problems, then after get ice cream with Ally...without any problems. But no, I must've been shitting myself. As I'm walking to Ally's locker, I see her being tormented by Arin and his goons. And better yet, Normani is the one doing all the talking towards her. That bitch just can't give us a break.

I storm over to them and yank Normani back by her shoulder. "OWE! What the fu-" she starts out mad but her face soon turns to shock when she realizes it's me. "Hey! Don't push her bitch!" Arin shoves me a little and I stumble into someone behind me. "Yeah! You have no right to fucking touch her!" I hear Lauren's voice and I am then shoved forward into Ally. I catch my footing and turn to look at all them laughing. "I don't take orders from dickheads like you!" I shouted towards them as I stepped forward. "And if she's all mighty then let her ass speak for herself!" I turned towards Mani who had wide eyes. "Alright then, fuck her up babe!" Arin gave her a spank on the behind causing Mani to move towards me.

"Why is it that you always bother Ally huh?" I was now in her face. "What the fuck has she ever done to you!?!" I was practically shouting now. "YOU JUST CAN'T HANDLE THE FACT THAT ALLY HAS MORE OPTIONS OTHER THAN YOU WITH YOUR POOR EXCUSE OF A BOYFRIEND!" Instead of asking another question I wait for her response but I don't get one. "Everyting okay Normani?" I ask putting a hand up to her forehead. "Because you look a little...red" I smirk as I see a blush appear deeper on her cheeks. I see her eyes lingering down so I snap my fingers in front of her and she flinches making her eyes come back to my face. "Eyes up here kordei!" Is she serious right now. "Unbelievable." I start laughing as I grab Ally's book bag off the floor and I escort her to her class while all of those goons remain in the hallway confused as hell as to what happened.
