~Part I, Betrayal~

Ever since their first meeting that was nearly a year ago, Aglaia had been curious about King Nightfinder's observation, these carvings look like i think the origional prophecy would, and how Whirlpool glanced at her with such understanding and pity, like something absolutely dire was going to happen and he KNEW it was going to, or how, or when. That look had haunted her and that that statement had plagued her mind horribly, making every night hard to sleep and concentration nearly impossible for her.

Aglaia snapped out of her dazed-like state to watch Gecko walk through the door, waving his talon around at her like a mad-man. It was oddly cute in her opinion as she walked towards him, only for him to burst into loud conversation, like usual. His giant eyes never ceased to go unnoticed. The other dragons didn't seem to matter once Gecko was at her side, just babbling nonsence and having fun. Sometimes she had to tell him to slow down just so she could understand him.

They both sniffed around and quieted, looking at each other, then slowly sticking their heads into the sleeping room to investigate a strongly foreign smell. The twins have been extremely teritorial lately, but nobody had a clue why. Aglaia's snout booped against another's as she looked at the strange eyes of someone new. It seemed to be a tidal wave of honey and sun. A small shriek sounded from the new dragonet, causing a much louder yell to come from Gecko and a raspy breath to come from Aglaia. The only thing that she could process other than their eyes were their purple scales.

Then, so suddenly, two talons pushed her into the room. She knew it was one of the twins, and she scratched painfully right behind her ears. Her eyes widened and the three young dragonets eyes filled with overwhelming fear. Aglaia's eyes met Topaz's as her bodyweight pressed heavily against her now tense back, her cold jasper colored eyes seemed to burn into Aglaia as she began to claw against her  wings.

Gecko was restrained by Granite with his mouth held shut as he struggled with all his might, trying to reach to his best freind. Both of their cries were muffled as Topaz mercilessly broke Aglaia's wing and dragged her near the window. She struggled, clawed, and screeched as best as she could, but her efforts were futile as Topaz simply scratched at her eye, thankfully failing to penetrate her violet orb. Gecko was having an easier time screaming, but that resulted in multiple scratches, tears, and painfully twisted limbs. All of his limbs were twisted horribly and his wings looked like they were just about to come out of its sockets. Blood stained his small, sleek scales and Aglaia felt horrible. She needed to protect him, but he was too out of reach.

An icy breath was building up Aglaia's throat as she almost breathed it on her assulter when she loosened her talon, only for her snout to be painfully clamped down together once more and frost spread across her silver scales. She felt cold all over, but somehow she knew it wasn't going to be fatal. She and Gecko were thrown out of the window and into the oceon as the twins tidied up, and with the evidence now disposed, they called out as if a tragedy just happened. The duo crashed against the bitter salt water.

~Part II, Whirlpool~

Aglaia felt like she was floating in her dream, clouds of water surrounded her as she and Gecko engaged in idle chatter. Everything felt great, with liquid between her talons and Gecko by her side, she can do anything. Then, the dream merged and became disoriented as Whirlpool popped in looking worried, as if something horrible had just happened. He looked a little guilty.

He spotted her and doggy paddled towards her as Gecko dissapeared into smoke, he has a weird blue sapphire resting on his neck. Aglaia asked why he looked sad, "You were declared dead... but it's cleary not true if I can use this dream sharer, not sure if that's it's name..." That peaked her interest, she's declared dead? She asked how he got the teardrop shaped gem, "I....I made it." he declared, as if it was a giant secret. Something was off about his voice.

Aglaia asked how he made it, he refused to answer, saying it's not very important. She asked if he's really her brother, ".....do you want the truth?" he asked, this is getting weirder by the second. She asked if this is real, he confirms it with a nod. "We don't have time..." we? "... you must look for the prophocy, the origional, not the recent one. It was made exactly forty years ago. Avoid Nightwings except for Gecko at all costs. Oh, if your REALLY curious about how I made this sapphire, get a scroll about Animus'.... and Fatejumper's conspiracy is true..." he trailed off, the dream becoming fainter. Aglaia tried to reach out for him, only to fade away, watching his face screwed up with sadness and guilt dissapeared into nothing.

~ Part III, Entirely New~

Aglaia coughed a bit as Gecko pumped at her stomach, a crude attempt at CPR. Her eyes met his as tears streaked his cheeks. She put her shaky talons against his drenched scales as he sniffled loudly. Hoding back sobs, he tackled her into a giant hug, their wings intertwined as they clung to eachother like their lives depended on it. Aglaia noticed a small fire and some decently made ointment as they snuggled. She felt bad, Gecko hated using his fire-breath. Regardless of the situation, he says it feels too dry and hot for him, and it hurts his throat like a stunted talon. But the ointment wasn't for that reason, she could smell the ingredients as her racing mind searched for the right mixture of herbs.

It's an ointment that helps the organ system work better. He thought she was gonna die. She sniffled and hugged him harder than before, determined not to ever let go, never let go of their freindship. They didn't even think to break their connection until a rustling sound emitted from just outside the cave. They both hid behind a conveniently shaped crevice and watched the entrence, the small and weak fire long since put out.

A weird bird-fish-dragon thing came into their veiw, it's eyes set straight on the exact crevice they were hidden behind, causing them to lash out and scratch at it as it shuffled towards them. It let out an enraged squawk, then took one look at Aglaia, and smirked. He looked about her age. "Mmmmmmm, nice eyes, sweet-wings." What kind of compliment was that?  Even Gecko looks confused! Before he could flirt with her more, Gecko spat out some fire, landing it right on his left wing. "Weren't you leaving?" he asked the flustered dragonet, watching as he stomped out the small inferno and hid, probably thinking they couldn't see or sense him.

The duo looked at eachother, then laughed. They laughed and laughed until they were forced to stop brcause they needed air. Then, they both decided to take a nap, being nicely and effectivly exausted from the strange occurrence.
