Aglaia sniffled quietly as Gecko didn't do anything other than stare into blank space, honey still harshly clinging itself onto his unhealthy looking scales as his exposed skin on his face broke out into small, irritated puss filled bumps. He barely acknowledged the quiet sounds she was holding back, the only thing he did was turn to bore his sad, broken eyes through the side of her skull, almost as if he did something that he didn't want her to know of yet. She couldn't stop her ears from flattening against her head even if she tried her hardest, her whole posture showed off how destraught she was. Aglaia had taken up an oath of silence for both Gecko and her mother, no need to break it. Not now or ever.
Aldrin had been absent alot lately. Not just during the night, but throughout the day. Aglaia couldn't even bring herself to care even though she knows she should, he's practically her brother! He had been extremely distant and strange whenever she could actually talk to him, but it's probably because Gecko had just recently woke up from his comatose. That had shoken her up as well. Aldrin just needs his space and his own time to reflect on the events of his life. They're all just recovering and there's no shame in that.
Aldrin squeezed into the cave "Aglaia, I have to talk to you... in private," he whispered quietly as Gecko turned his gaze to the other male before him, his ginormous orbs quickly turning heated and distrusting. Aglaia went with him anyway but took the snoozing sloth wrapped around her neck with her. It can't be that private, right? Silver always finds a way to keep all kinds of secrets, anyway. He didn't seem to object to her bringing her little hip buddy so she assumed that he must be fine with the extra addition to their conversation. She couldn't help but to scowl a bit as her mind thought up things he might want to confess, love? But her heart and soul belongs with Gecko, no questions asked.
As they slowly progressed towards a small clearing deep in the forest, Aglaia increasingly grew more apprehensive about the situation. Why did it feel so odd and horrifyingly heavy, in her scales and her stomach. Just like when the twins manhandled her and Gecko. How was this simular in any way? It's probably just guilt, or knowing how this will effect their already strained relationship so direly.
They slowly came to a stop and Aldrin stared at her with a strangly unnerving expression, why does it shake her so? Then suddenly, he lunged with a wide open jaw, ready to shred her scales and crack her bones with such a bloodthirsty appitite. Aglaia reacted quickly, swiftly moving out of his deadly path and carefully placing Silver, who was absilutely livid, in a safer place that was in between the thick roots of an old tree as he let out a distraught bark. She had successfully moved him out of Aldrin's furious path, but she needed to relocate herself to abandon the mad dragon.
Aldrin lunged once more, this time harshly grazing her once infected wing, now leaving a re-opened overflooding wound. Droplets of dragon blood speckled itself into the air as Aglaia sharply fleed to her right, trying not to fight what used to be her freind. He had pinned her down in an instant and began letting out loud hisses, her limbs and wing burned under all the weight from her uncomfortable position. It had left her no choice but to use her icy breath, but he did not stop her. He hadn't even tried to clamp her mouth closed or turn her around, he just stared at her with such a crazed look of satisfaction as she desperstely struggled beneath his heavy body as he uncaringly watched her new weapon come to existance.
She spat the freezing ball of liquid-gas at the right side of his face. At first, it had frosted its respectable half of the dragon's face, then in a snap, it had simply melted off of him like... water. Aglaia watched in horror as the cool substance slipped off of his face and onto her tustled scales, it had changed the color into a purer, deeper silver, leaving it's rightful mark on her chest in a messy manner. "You seem absolutely invincible on the outside, but you know what? Your practically useless when it comes to blue fire. Queen Battlewinner finally decided to dispose of you! First, I'll pull every one of your goreous, perfect little scales out of your body, then I'll test to see if your even furtile! I mean, you'd be useful for something then! If you are, oh nevermind! You've got plenty of time to find out~," he trailed off with a tooth filled snarl.
"Oh, you must be soooo confused about the blue fire, am I right?!" he asked with pure enthusiasm deep in his voice, aimed at the curled up and terrified dragoness trapped beneath him like a deer under a falling tree, " May I demonstrate?!" he asked himself, but staring at Aglaia for confirmation. She shook her head feverishly with tears welled up in her purple waves of fear, hoping that her opinion meant something to the insanity driven dragon, but alas, it didn't. For the first time since Gecko went in a coma, she felt completely helpless and her whole body was filled with absolute fear. There's no getting out of this unless something saves her.
Before he could do anything else, Silver sank his long fangs into the horrible dragon's wrist, the only unprotected area within direct reach of him. With a disgusted screech he flung the sloth across the clearing, his head banged against the exact tree he had once hid under as he passed out at the harsh contact. Aglaia took the opportunity and slashed at his neck, enlighting a surprised yelp in return of her shaky, sloppy swipe. She had pinned him down but before she could remember about the 'blue fire', she got slammed to the ground as a horrific burning pain made itself clear on the left side of her face.
She let out a terrified, completely pained scream into the once innocent forest as two colored blurs raced past her vision, one silver and one black and red. Gecko and someone else? Her vision had just barely cleared to see a mystery dragoness and Gecko holding down Aldrin, both of them mercilessly clawing at his whole body as he screamed so loud that it could compete with her own. After eons of clawing him had passed, Gecko had started speaking for the first time in weeks, "If I ever see you again, near Aglaia or no, I'm going to get this kind dragoness here, she's very important to both her and me, and we'll PERSONALLY SEND YOU TO HELL. Leave, and don't you ever show up on the edges of the earth ever again. Oh, and tell that fucker Battlewinner too. We're not scared of her anymore.." he hissed, allowing the dragonet to fumble around and just barely fly away.
The both of them rushed towards Aglaia as she begun to get scooped up in a mixed embrace. "We should've come sooner... I'm sorry," Gecko whimpered out as tears began to sooth her half melted face. "I'm sorry baby, I shouldn't have trusted that dragon with your wellbeing. I was too desperate for you to survive, but now I know that didn't do a lick of help. I'm sorry....." her soothing motherly tone lulling her to a deep rest.
